Unexpected events

Well....that wasn't how he expected this to go. He had pictured a simple tour of Gem's embassy and then move on with his not so monotonous day as he continued to plan the imminent downfall of his brother. 

What he hadn't anticipated, was the temporary pause on those plans as he was kidnapped and placed in a cell somewhere under Mythland, the evil cackles of Sausage and Joey taunting him as panic began to rise.

So now, stuck with only walls and an increasingly irritated wizard to keep him company, part of him wished this hell of an experience would end, for the better or worse, he was starting to lose care, quite happy with a sword in the neck if it released the boredom and pain.

That was years ago. He wasn't quite sure if that was the most surprising thing from his youth, the fact he literally died to save a world that wasn't worthy of saving, or that said Codfather is now his husband and he is a father.
