Snow, snow, snow and more snow. His kingdom was coated in white that wasn't letting up. He was trapped in his house with a certain Cod hybrid. They had a meeting overnight and were now stuck in the same house until the blizzard calmed down and the snow shovelers could do their job.
So, he was forced to make tea and hope Jimmy wouldn't be too upset. They weren't enemies, they weren't friends nor allies. It was the confusingly awkward situation where fate could throw you one way or the other.
On one hand, they could be fine, become something closer to companions than strangers. Obviously they knew each other, but not well enough to feel comfortable.
Or they could absolutely hate each other and start a war in the 4 walls Scott called his some.
He was dreading the blonde waking up and finding out he had no escape from the foreign ways of Rivendell. A place no one was particularly able to fit into from the outside with its strict formalities and extravagant culture. Or impending history.
Scott was hoping the snow ceased in a few hours.
-----------------------------------------------
Just his luck. It took a week for Jimmy to be able to leave.
Yet they were both unwilling to do so.
In the seven days they were forced together, it became more normal and warm and domestic until they were basically the same family.
So maybe the snow and cold isn't the worst thing every once in a while.
