Tommy had  a family. He had friends. He had a home. He had a life. He had everything a boy like him could wish for. Fame. Talked of as a hero by many. He had never done wrong in his mind.

So why was he so unhappy.

Dream was no longer the cold hearted tyrant he once was. The two got along like sugar and spice. He didn't understand the feeling of something missing.

Maybe he missed something more personal. More original.

He had a family before this. Bred from war and lost to the cruel hands of time and fate. His parents, dead on the floors of battle fields he couldn't remember, because he was young. Tommy couldn't have been more than 5 when everything he thought he knew, everything he treasured, was robbed from his hands and burnt in the ashes of a red winter.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Scott hated his life. Hated his advisors. Hated his family. Because they all abandon or control him. Leave him to fight in the dust of their arrogant foot steps. He had, for the most part, forgotten what true, blissful happiness felt like.

It was a ghost, a memory.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Jimmy couldn't remember when he had a son, a husband. It was hazy and unclear. Small snippets of paradise before purgatory. Maybe if he wished and prayed enough, he would get them back. Maybe life's outcome would be that he was carding through cyan hair and watching a small avian finally learn to fly.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Separation through a millennia and across worlds.

Maybe they deserve something with a happy ending.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tommy could have screamed when he watched blonde hair, similar to his, walk outside to a screaming crowd and stood, wondering if he was seeing reality. He was, very swiftly, tackled to the ground by a crying Jimmy as the crowds coo'd and asked themselves questions never to be answered.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Scott was signing the adoption papers as soon as he saw Tommy and Jimmy. Crying into husbands shoulder as it was officially announced Tommy Minecraft was now Tommy Solidarity-Smajor, Jimmy was Jimmy Solidarity was now Jimmy Solidarity-Smajor and he was Scott Solidarity-Smajor.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

It was unexpected, sure.

But none of them were complaining.
