Maybe it was because he saw the remains of what was a lost battle. Maybe it was because he witnessed first hand the grief of war. Maybe it was because his husband of days was laid dead on the floor of a bunker he thought would keep him safe.
Although looking back, it was childish, foolish optimism that inevitably lead to the demise of Jimmy. The one man in the server Scott saw as innocent. Forced to fight, unwilling to hurt a fly and so soft he was almost a cloud. A perfect angel watching his husband cry over a loss that he should have seen coming the moment he saw the stupid "Red army".
So what did Scott do when he saw crimson engulfing the one person he trusted more than anything?
He got his revenge. He bore down the angry wrath many should have feared as the person who murdered Jimmy ate their own medicine. Skizz bit the dust with the elated Scott screaming with joy. He never thought he would, celebrate a death with sympathy no where in sight.
But it was instinct. A husband avenged and war one small step to being won.
