Chris:

I cradled my six week old daughter. In my arms as I rocked her backwards and forwards to settle her down for sleep.

"Coz all of me

Loves all of you

Love your curves and all your edges

All your perfect imperfections...

Give your all to me

I'll give my all to you

Your my end and my beginning

Even when I loose I'm winning..." I sung softly.

I heard a chuckle behind me as I placed her into her cot.

"I some how don't think that is a lullaby you sing to children to get them to sleep." Chris laughed, leaning in the doorway.

"She's too young to understand words." I defended.

"I think it was cute." He smirked.

I frowned at him.

"I'd like to see you do any better." I smiled.

"Oh no..." He said, holding his hands up in surrender.

I smirked.

"You have such a beautiful voice. Have you ever thought about letting the whole world hear it?" He asked.

"It's only for loved ones." I smiled.

He smiled, pecking me on the lips.

"I love you." He said.

"I love you too." I smiled.

He didn't hesitate to crash his lips on mine.

When we broke apart our ears were filled with crying.

I groaned.

"I'll get it. You look exhausted." Chris said, kissing my forehead, jogging off in the direction of our daughters cries...

Tom:

I sat at the side of my fathers hospital bed, holding his hand.

"_____, you have such a beautiful voice... Sing for me." He said, his voice almost a whisper.

"All the times I have played in your life

When your love kept me safe through the night

All the time I was sure you were mine

And before time demands out goodbye

Can you sing me your last lullaby..." I sung.

I felt a tear roll down my cheek.

Tom used his thumb to wipe it off as my father stroked my hand weakly.

"The voice of an angel..." My father said.

"I love you Dad." I smiled.

"I love you too darling." He smiled.

Tom smiled slightly.

"You too Tom." My father said.

A real smile found its way onto his lips. The one he was so famous for...

"_____... What have I told you your whole life?" He asked.

"To live life to the full." I said, my voice wobbling as tears clouded my vision.

"Have I?" He asked.

I nodded.

"Then what are you so upset over?" He asked.

"I just wish you were strong... So you could meet your grandchild..." I said, rubbing my baby bump.

"I can see them now sweetheart... They are as beautiful as you, and they have Tom's good looks..." He coughed.

My tears started to fall.

"I love you... And I will always be looking over you... Helping you... And I want you to stay strong.... For me" he coughed.

A little, quiet siren went off and I looked up.

It was his heart monitor.

His heart was fading.

"You can't go now..." I said, my tears streaming down my face.

"My time is up..." He said.

"No..." I cried, holding his hand tighter.

"I will live on... In your heart and your memories..." He said.

I didn't say anything as I tried to wipe away my tears.

"I love you both..." Were his last words.

"I love you too Dad..." I squeaked.

Before crying into my hands.

Tom's arms were wrapped strongly around me as I wept into his chest.

"I love you ____ and so does you father." He whispered.

"I love you too." I said, as he kissed my forehead.

"I just wish he was still here." I groaned as a sharp pain shot through my stomach.

"Are you okay?" Tom asked, worried.

"I... I think..." I started.

I felt my waters break.

"Oh my... I'm in labour!" I cried...
