It has been a while since my father and Nick had left me here with these men, I look at my phone to see that it was 6pm. The Halloween party was in one hour and I still had not produced an idea that would help me get out of the building without anyone seeing me. The four guys were just in the kitchen playing a game of poker, while I sat in the sitting room watching some Tv, and every couple of minutes one of them would check to see if I were there. It is ridiculous that I need four men to look after me when I had powers, granted I did not know how to use them, I mean I could still do a better job than them. I texted Peter and Collin that I might be a bit late because there is a family emergency but none of them replied, I look around the room to see if there is anything that I can use to help me get out of this room. I noticed that there is a smoke detector above my head so if I could set it off it would distract them long enough so that I could get out.

I just did not know how I would do it without any smoke, just then I got an idea I could use my power. Yes, I did not know how they worked them fully or how I use them, but this would be good practice. I look over to the guys, who were too busy invested in their little game to notice. I put my hand out and focus my mind onto the smoke detector, but nothing happened, so then I focus even harder on it, and I swear a vein might pop if I kept going yet. Why could I not use my power like the other two times, what was different then than now, and then it hit me. Both times that I had used my power I was either upset or angry, it was my emotion that was setting off my power. I needed to make myself angry so I focused on the one person I hated the most and that was Hydra and I thought about all the test that they did on me and even other kids. And how many of them died because they did not work, and I could feel myself getting increased angry at the thoughts.

With my anger I focus on the smoke detector and think about Hydra, just then a hear a small clicking noise and it starts to get louder. Just then the fire alarm goes off and so does the sparklers and water starts to come out. I heard the men shouting and one of them saying to check on the boy before hearing footsteps coming toward me. I quickly act as if I had nothing to do with it as the men run into the room. One of them ran over to me and grabbed me while the other others looked around the room. He walks me over toward the elevator and tells me to stand there while they look around. I tried my best not to smirk at the fact that my plan worked but I had to keep up this little charade so they would not know. I watch as he turns around the corner and as soon as he does I pressed the button for the elevator and get into it when it opens. Just before the elevator door closes one of them comes running around the corner and I give them a little wave before the door closes. Just as I am waiting for it to get to the bottom floor, the alarm starts to go off, "I repeat CODE RED" a man repeatedly shouts over the coms. Fuck!! That meant everyone in the building knows that I have escaped so might be hard now.

Just then the elevator door opens to the bottom floor, and I peak my head out to see if I could see anyone, but there was no one in sight. So, that meant that the coast was clear for now, I put my hood up so maybe people will not recognize me. I started to get closer to the door when I heard someone shout from behind me, I turn around to see 3 people running toward me with guns in their hands pointing at me. "My father won't be happy about this" I say in a demanding voice but I just sounded like one of the rich girls in the movies. But they just continue to point their guns at me, and one of them said something into a walkie talkie but I couldn't understand it because it wasn't English. I looked  back over at the man who was speaking in the walkie talkie and noticed that he has a tattoo on his neck. Haft of it was covered because of his coat but it looked familiar and then it hit me ... it was a Hydra symbol. These were not shield agents, they were working with hydra, they were people that I was meant to be hiding from but just walked into them.

Now I regretted escaping from the room because I was safer up there, just then they started to walk closer to me. I needed to do something or else I was toast, I had to use my power, but I did not know how I was going to get angry quick enough. I focus all my energy on my hand and at the men, and they look at me confused. I breath in and out while still focusing all my energy on my hand and it begins to glow a turquoise color. I point my hand towards the men put nothing happens and they begin to laugh at me as they get closer, then I hear a gun shot and one of the men fall to the floor. The others quickly turn around to see one of the men that was meant to be keeping an eye on me at the elevator, he shoots until there was only one guy left and they were both pointing their guns at each other, I saw this as my chance to sneak out and quickly make it towards the door.
