I wake up to the sun shining in my face over the blind being left open. I noticed that I was now lying in one of the Buck-beds, I do not know how I got here. I hear movement from behind me and look to see a sleeping Peter, he looked so peaceful while he slept. As I look at him, I remember everything that happened last night, and how he came to save me.

I glanced over at the clock and saw that it was 6 a.m. I gently climbed out of bed, tiptoeing more toward the door to avoid waking Peter, but I came to a halt as Peter began to speak in his sleep. Was he dreaming about me when he whispers in his sleep, "Please don't hurt him."

In his sleep, he screams and begins to plead, "No, stop No!!! Y/N!! don't hurt him." I stroll over to the bed and begin to stir him awake, as it pains me to watch him this way. "It's okay, Peter," I assured him, "it was just a dream." I see his hazel eyes connect with mine as he opens his eyelids. He tries to communicate, but He could probably say anything because he was weeping., "breath Peter." I say and he began to inhale and exhale until he was able to speak.

He begins to weep again, and I bring him into an embrace. "I had a dream that I didn't get there in time, and they turned you against me," he says. I start massaging his head and caressing his back, thinking to myself, wow, he genuinely cares about me. "Y/N," hey says and I answer, "Yeah." He sits up and gives me a direct stare. He does not say anything; all he does is stare me down.

"I'm sorry about everything; I shouldn't have reacted like that when I found out it was you and not Ned," he adds. "I forgive you, Peter," I remark, and a grin forms on his face. "Could you kindly massage my head again?" he asks, his puppy dog eyes wide. He lays down on my lap and I begin to do it after I giggle and nod. I started to hear snoring and peek down to find Peter asleep again not long after I started doing it.

I carefully took him away from me because I needed to use the restroom. I hurriedly exit the room and go ahead to the bathroom, where I finish my business and move over to the sink. In the restroom, there was a mirror, and as I investigated it, I noticed that my eyes were tinged with turquoise. Everything that happened, including Echo's takeover of my body, comes to mind. Since last night, I have not heard from him.

I finished my business in the bathroom and was about to return to bed, when suddenly I heard my name call. Aunt May is at the end of the hallway, and she motions for me to come over to her. "How are you feeling?" she asks as I follow her into the kitchen, and she pours me a cup of green tea.

Peter informed me that he had just told her that my father had been in a vehicle accident and that he was late returning home because he was with me at the hospital. "I'm OK, just worried about my father," I responded, and she gave me a sympathetic look before coming over again and hugging me.

She responds, "Well, you're free to stay as long as you need." May was the closest thing I had to a mother at the time. "Thank you for everything, Miss Parker," I say, and she replies, "call me May," as she sits across from me. She tells me some anecdotes about Peter when he was younger, some of which were very embarrassing for him if he found out I knew, like when he had an accident on Santa when he was 13. I tried not to laugh but they were amusing.

She laughs and continues, "Don't tell him I told you any of this." "I promise I won't," I say. "I'm concerned about him," she adds at random, and I stare at her. "I didn't know where he was last night, either. He never tells me anything "I can see tears welling up in her eyes as she says this.

"He thinks I don't notice," she said, "but I hear him go during the day and return late at night." "Perhaps he's out seeing his girlfriend," I joke, and she gives me a sidelong glance. "I hope so, because thinking about it drives me insane," she replies. "He really cares, you know," she adds at random, and I give her a puzzled look since I am not sure what she is talking about. "When he hurt you, he was extremely distraught, and he came home weeping and asking me what he was going to do," she tells me. "And what did you say?" I said, interested since I had no idea Peter had informed May about our argument.
