It was now my second day at the Midtown High School of Science and Technology, and it was a school full of smart kids and then you have me. I spend most of the time with either Ned or with MJ, well I sit beside MJ as she ignores me and reads her book. I liked MJ, but she scares me sometimes like today. She was reading a book called "101 Ways to Hide a Body" and it was creepy, but I also loved it. Now we were making our way into the canteen to grab some food. Just as we sat down, I got a text from my father about how he would not be home till late, which honestly does not surprise me at this point because it is the text I have been getting for the last couple of days.

> I am so sorry to have to do this again, but I would not be home until late

< Ok, I will just grab food on the way home

Just as I sent the message, I heard Ned call out to someone, and I feel someone walk beside me and stand over us. I could feel eyes staring at me and I looked up to make eye contact with the same hazelnut brown eyes I saw on the first day. I did not say anything. I just stared at him. I got flashbacks to when we first met when we bumped into each other. We just looked at each other. I did not have control over my body. I wanted to say something, but I could not come out except for weird noises. But I broke our silence when MJ decided to cough loudly to get our attention.

"Are you both done with the starring competition? " She said while putting down the book for the first time today. Peter decides to take a seat in front of me and beside Ned. I could not stop looking at Peter, but he just had this attractiveness about him. He caught me staring at him, so I glanced away, but I could feel my face blushing and I knew he could see it. He does not say anything about it, he just continues to talk to Ned about something. They were talking about Star Wars or Star Trek; I was not really paying attention. But I couldn't help but laugh when I heard MJ groan loudly about them, talking about their nerdy stuff.

We spent the rest of lunch just talking about original stuff, with Ned and MJ asking me about my past. Which I just told them about my father getting the promotion and that is why we moved here. The bell goes to tell us that lunch is over, so I say goodbye to everyone because I do not have classes with them until the last class with Peter. The first two classes flew in, but this last class was dragging on. I looked at the clock to see that there were only five minutes left in this class, which I was so happy about because I could not stand it any longer. I love school, well I would not say love, but I liked it. But something about science was just so boring. I was good at it, but I still hated it.

And with it being a School of Science and Technology, it meant that I had to do science. But it had its cool moments with making things explode and cutting things open. I decided that I was just going to look out the window for the last couple of minutes, praying that it would fly in. They brought me out of my thoughts with my name being called.

"Y/N.... Y/N L/N, are you even paying attention to me? '' I looked up to see my teacher, and she did not look happy one bit. This was a good first impression for me., "Yes, Miss '' I answered, looking down at my desk because I knew everyone was looking at me and I hated the attention. "Then would you like to repeat what I just said to the class? '' she says, and I can feel my heart starting to beat fast from my anxiety. I could feel a panic attack coming on. I did not say anything, but just kept looking at the desk., "Well, if you were listening to me, you would know that everyone had to pair up," he says. I look around the room to see that everyone had already paired up.

 "Great, Y/N, your partner will be Peter," he points over at the brown-haired boy. I can feel my heartbeat start to quickly get faster and I could feel a warmness in my stomach from the butterflies when she says this. This meant I could get to have time with him without MJ and Ned being there. I watch Peter stand up, get his stuff together, and walk over toward me. "So, I guess we are partners for the year," he says with a smile that could honestly make me melt. "I suppose so," I reply with a smile, trying my hardest not to blush. The bell rings to let us know that it is the end of the school day, and I gather all my things and head out of the class. I can feel someone walking beside me, and I look over to see Peter walking.
