the corridor you walked down was as gloomy as it was chilling. and it was not one you would have ever expected yourself to walk down. the classrooms that lined the hallway reflected nothing but darkness as you peered in. it was almost as if there were no contents to the rooms at all.

though you continued to walk, it was as if time did not pass. rather it trudged on slowly, warping so that a minute felt as if it was ten. and that ten felt like an hour.

with no end in clear sight, you soon became weary. you sighed as an equally weary hand, dragged down your face, wiping the uneasiness mixed with exhaustion.

"I/n," a voice called. it came from afar, travelling down the length of the corridor. your steps quickened in peace, in search of the voice.

you saw geto's face. his hand was outstretched, reaching in desperation for you. frantically, he looked up and down the darkened corridor as if someone was looking for him. or rather, that he was in search of someone. someone that he could not see. it was enough to make his brows furrow with paranoia and for him to flinch with each flicker of light.

you were almost in arm's reach of him when you heard it.

your name was called again, but you could not distinguish who it was that spoke.

"we have to go l/n," geto urged, stretching beyond his limits to reach you.

you turned back to him to meet his outstretched hand. and though the distance between seemed to ever increase, you desperately tried.

from either end of the corridor, the lights that had barely been flickering switched off. one by one the lights were killed, increasing in pace as if they rushed to engulf you.

and when they did, you woke up with a jolt.

you felt the dampness of your pillow as the feeling of fear continued to engulf you.
