Selene Empress Pov (Adonis's/Alex's mother)
*Sigh*... I blankly stare at my paper work.
Rem notices and asks, "W-What's the matter Your Highness, the S-Selene Empress?"
Normally, the emperor's and empress's title would be longer.. holy Selene.. I don't even want to think of the full form.. even half of it includes a large amount of words! But, Rem is my close attendant, and our time can't be wasted with that awfully long greeting.
I stare at Rem as I give out satisfied smile. When I first asked Rem to call me that, she started to stutter even worse than usual-she could barely make a sentence!-, her face started turning red, her body tensed up, the files she was holding dropped, her movements turned stiff, and as I thought it couldn't get worse, she fainted!
And her forehead was burning up when I caught her! When I called the doctor, apparently, she fainted from shock and stress. With all that stress, she even got a fever!
A/N: They do have doctors here.
There are 3 er.. healing people-let's say, a person would go to for.. idk.. the reasons why we go to a doctor.. First, there's a herbalist-a person who specialises in herbs/plants. One could go to them for.. medication.
Second, a typical doctor-like herbalist, but focuses more on your body problems.. most would go to a doctor first before going to a herbalist for medicine, but, one can go to a herbalist first for their problem.
Lastly, there's a priest. Yes, a priest. These priests, are "healing" priests but their mostly called priests. Most of the time at war, these "healing" priests would be scouted to help the injured knights. These priests would have a divination power that goes in the "healing" section, for divination powers have different sections, as in reading the future.
"U-Um.." Rem looks away nervously as she starts to blush at my intense stare.

"Hm? Anyway, Rem, you asked a question earlier didn't you?" I ask.
"O-Oh.. r-right! Uh... you were sighing a-and um.. I was wondering.. uh.. w-what was wrong?" She replies. I brighten. "Right! I was just thinking about my precious son! Isn't he too adorable!? What if someone takes him to marry!?"
"..." Silence replied.
"But.. um.. Your H-Highness, the Selene Empress.. I agree that the Selene Prince is cute-"
"Yes! Isn't he too adorable!?" I gush.
"..."
Rem stares at me. Oops. I interrupted her.. Rem may be shy, stutters, and is mostly a nervous wreck.. she didn't get her position that easily.. Rem is what you call... a two-faced person- who doesn't even know that herself. She is basically split in half. One half a shy, kind, nervous woman, while the other... is what people call a cold, calculative, manipulative, demon. The worst of it all, she doesn't even notice it. When someone angers her, other her, comes in and.. tortures.. that person.. and when she snaps out of it, she doesn't remember what she did.
They call her "The Devil In An Angel's Skin-The Angel In The Devil's Skin". That's her full title though. Sometimes they call her "The Devil In An Angel's Skin" alone or "The Angel In The Devil's Skin". Although, most of the time they call her the former.
Even though she doesn't snap for me, much... I have to fix this! "Ahem. Anyway, weren't you about to say something Rem?". Good one!
"A-Ah! Yeah.. I w-was about to say some-e thing." she said now, blushing.
Thank Selene. "Right, the Selene Prince i-is cute.. b-but.. isn't he a-a bit too young for ma-marriage? So I believe you mustn't worry about t-that"
"Haha..." I just chuckled it off.
"Any way," I stand up, as I walk towards Rem and the door, "How about we go see how Leon is doing?"
"Huh!?" Rem exclaimed in surprise as she runs to the desk, leaves the files and run's after me.
I walked down the hallway, greeted by maids with Rem hurrying behind me. Rem stand's outside the door as I see the door and slam-ahem-pushed the door open to see Leon wearing a formal silver-blue suit.
He notice's me and greets me with a soft smile. My cheeks redden. Ugh! Why is he so infuriatingly handsome!? As his wife, I should be used to it, but... ugh.. "Off to somewhere?" I ask. I don't remember any special events. "Ah, you see, the 4 *vasíleia are meeting up. After all, now all our children are born."
A/N: *kingdoms, which mean's the 4(human) kingdoms are meeting up.
Oh right! He told me that last night. "Then have a nice trip."
He leans towards me," Awe.. No farewell kiss?"
"Get some manner's first." I reply coldy.
He wipes away a non-existent tear. "So cold.."
We walked out the room, to the entrance, out to a silver, outlined in silver-blue, carriage with the Selene royal family's symbol on it. I see Butler Dan standing in front right next to the entrance door.
Leon turns to me, as he suddenly hugs me he says, "Well I have to leave now.. I be back a soon as I can ok?"
"Yes..." I reply hugging him back. When he retreated from the hug, I instantly took the chance to surprise him. Better now than suffering embarrassment. I stood on my toes and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. His eye's widen in surprise.
My cheeks flush. "Well you have to go now! You'll be late!" I say, pushing him towards the carriage. "Sia.. did you just give me a farewell kiss?" He asked giving puppy eyes. "Leave already!"
"Hahaha! Ok." He said finally leaving. He went inside and waved as the carriage left.
"I hope His Highness, the Selene Emperor stays safe." Rem said.
Ah..yes..she's still here..
I smirk.
"Don't worry. After all, our love story start's at war, not? If he lived long enough for that, then this should be easy."
