I woke up the next morning with a hand wrapped around my waist tightly. I immediately prepared to go into a defensive mood, but slowly remembered last night, and who the arm could possibly belong to. I carefully flipped onto my other side, where Jason was lying and, of course, with his arm wrapped around me, sleeping. I took maybe two minutes to study him. His white, dirty mask and his dark blue shirt that was currently unbuttoned. I stared at his chest and made my way down to his stomach. He was actually pretty built. Then I heard Jason let out a soft chuckle and my eyes flickered to his one eye that could actually open. And it was looking into mine. I playfully elbowed him in the ribs as an excuse to cover my blush and he laughed even more. I shook my head and stood up.

"You know, Hockey Puck, I've met some pricks in my life. But you, Sir, are a cactus," I grumbled and made my way towards the door, bag in hand.

He laughed again and rolled over to face me. "Yeah, Cali. Maybe so. But you're a coldhearted bitch so..."

I flipped him off as I walked out and shut the door behind me. I sighed heavily and leaned against the wall. I had just slept in the same bed as Jason fucking Voorhees. What in the hell. I pushed myself off the wall and fled to the bathroom. I plopped down on the toilet and put my burning face into my hands, hiding my blush from nobody. God that was embarrassing.

I sat like this for a few minutes when I started hearing the guys talking in low voices. I couldn't quite understand them, but they were usual yelling at each other, so this had to be interesting. I threw on my cut off Nirvana belly shirt I stole from some girls room a few years back and a pair of ripped black skinny jeans. It was revealing look, but I didn't really care. Not like I couldn't stab someone if they tried to give me shit for it.

I stepped out of the bathroom quietly and slid over to the wall leading to the kitchen.

"The only reason someone would do it is for attention. All teenagers do it for attention. Next thing you know she'll be faking pregnancy." I heard Freddy's voice first. They couldn't be talking about me.

"That's not true! It's a way to express your sadness, it's a call for help!" Ghostface started. "Maybe we should talk to her about it calmly and explain to her that she's worth it!"

"I'm sure she's wouldn't cut herself for attention nor depression," Jason spoke up. I smiled at the sound of his voice. But then I was hit with realization and I felt my smile disappear. They found my blades in the sink.

"Guys, we don't even know if she did it on purpose. Maybe she was shaving and it was a dull blade or something," Michael said. They were all quiet for a moment, until Ghostface broke the silence with a yelp of pain.

"That's not a dull blade!" Ghostface yelled out.

"Fucking pussy," Freddy muttered. "Anyway, why would she do it? Do you think it had something to do with..." He didn't seem to want to finish, but I could tell everyone knew what he was talking about.

"It's the only suitable explanation I can think of... how do we stop her?" Michael asked. "He would kick our asses if we messed up his plans for her."

Freddy had a look of wonder on his face. "I don't know, but hasn't she been in that bathroom awhile guys?"

All of the boys looked my way. They all stood up as they saw me. I made a run for the door. "Erm, see ya guys after work!" I quickly yelled before shutting the door.

This was crazy. Was he the boy in the sweatshirt? He didn't seem capable of much, so I don't think they'd be scared of him. Maybe the boy's friend he mentioned. I don't know, but I do know I'm going to get some answer next time I saw this "Jeffery."

I scurried down the street, praying to the squirrel I passed in Walmart once that one of them didn't come out in attempt to talk to me about any of this. I knew I'd have to face them later, but right then I just wasn't in the mood.

About a block further, I had finally relaxed enough to push the situation out of my mind and fix my mind on the path to Starbucks. I mean, I knew my way pretty good, but I tried studying what I passed on my way to work everyday. A small blue house with a pit bull chained in the front lawn, a ghetto park full of men smoking, a few leafless trees, a tree with all of its leaves and all the same bright green in the middle of fall with a boy in a hoodie sitting on one of the branches staring at me with another boy next to him in a blue hoodie, also staring at me. You know, the usual.

I stopped in front of the tree and crossed my arms. "Who the hell are you?" I asked. "And what the fuck do you want?"

"Ha, only if I could tell you my name. But I-"

I cut him off. "Jeffery. You're name is Jeffery."

He stared at me and cocked his head to the side. "How would you know that?"

"The guys I live with seem to know you. Look, I don't know what the fuck you want, and I mostly don't care, but if you guys have some kind of grudge on each other, leave me out of it." I turned and stormed off.

"Wait, come back!" Jeffery yelled. I ignored him. I heard him mumble something to his friend. "At least she still calls me Jeffery."

His friend sounded confused. "I thought you hated that name."

"I do," He responded. "Only because she is the only one I want calling me that. Ever."

I paused only for a second before continuing down the sidewalk, slower this time. What was that about? He couldn't possibly know me. I don't remember ever calling anyone Jeffery...

Whatever. I have 10 minutes to get to Starbucks and it's a 20 minute walk at this pace. I began running, letting the burning in my lugs and legs distract me from everything.I hadn't even been awake for 2 hours and already I just wanted to crawl in bed and sleep my life away. No stress with hooded crazy boys, old ass zombie horror movie crushes, or my seemingly attention seeking cutting act. Just had to get in and out of work, then sleep. Only, I wished it had all happened that easily.
