The tale of the Wicked Witch and Glinda had spread throughout the Land of Oz. Every day was more wicked. Every day the terror grew. All of Oz was ever on alert. Gossip and assumption was underpinned by panic and suspicion in almost every conversation. That's the way with the Wicked, spreading fear wherever they went. Seeking out new victims they could hurt.

Like some terrible green and pink blizzard, throughout the land they flew, exposing the poor Wicked with their calumnies and lies. They lied. 'Save us from the Wicked!' many people began to cry out. 'Shield us so we won't be hexed.' begged others. 'Give us warning, where will they strike next?' even more pleaded.

Meanwhile, in a castle far away from Oz, Elphaba, Glinda, and the newly formed Animal Rights Defense Force were devising a plan to overthrow the corrupt Ozian Government and free the Animals.
Elphaba had explained the whole situation to the group beforehand.
"I think the most practical strategy is for us to invade the castle from the air and from the ground. The soldiers on the ground will charge towards the guards. Glinda, and myself will stage an aerial attack. Once the guards have been taken care of, we'll storm the Wizard's chambers. We'll open all the cages and set all the animals free."
Evanna interrupted. "But what weapons will we use?" "Magic. That's the strongest weapon that can be used against a phony man like the Wizard." She  nodded, and then went to the other side of the room to inspect the horse armor. Azure, one of the other soldiers began to chant "Down with the Wizard! Down with the Wizard! Down with the Wizard!" Everyone chanted with her, then went outside to the training grounds to practice.

The Wizard was in his chamber, along with a decent crowd of people who were completely against Animal Rights. After a few seconds, the Wizard and Morrible addressed the crowd. "I'm sure you've heard what happened when I attempted to make Elphaba my Grand Vizier. She is daring to challenge my power and threatening me by saying that she will free all the animals. I feel that this should not happen because animals should be seen and not heard. All they are is useless know nothings who take up space in this Oz damn city!" The crowd cheered in agreement. "If it's a war she wants, then a war she'll get! Who's with me?!" Everyone assembled in the room cheered louder than before. The Wizard stayed in the throne room, while everyone went to the training grounds to prepare. A few seconds later, Glinda made her bubble vanish, and stormed into the room with her fists clenched and her wand bared.
The Wizard looked up with a hint of malice in his eye. "What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be with Elphaba devising that worthless plan to overthrow my government? Because I'll have you know, I can strike you and your entire group down with a mere snap of my fingers." He said.

"Actually, no. I'm here to join you." Glinda made sure to act convincingly enough so the Wizard could trust her. The Wizard nodded, then began to describe his strategy to her. "When Elphaba gets here, she won't know what's coming. I've trained all my soldiers to not go down without a fight. As soon as she gets defeated, all animals will either be back in cages, or killed." Glinda nodded. "I think that's a very good idea, your Ozness. I'll go train with the others." At that, she conjured up her bubble and quickly flew towards the castle.
