While the others were fighting, Elphaba and Glinda were looking through the Grimmerie for a spell to end the Wizard's life once and for all. After looking through the pages, they eventually found one. Glinda was worried. "Elphie, are you sure you can read this?" She asked. Elphaba shushed her and kept reading the incantation over and over to herself in order to commit it to memory. There were also specific hand movements to perform in order to make sure the spell would be strong enough to smoke the Wizard and Morrible out. As soon as she was confident enough, she closed the book. "Alright, I'm ready for this. Let's go." She said, rushing out to the battle scene. All of the Anti Animal Rights Force were either severely injured or left for dead.
Elphaba then stood in front of The Wizard and Morrible. "You two better say your last words, because when I'm done with this spell, you will be gone, and everyone will forget you exist. She began to wave her arms around, and closed her eyes. "Nahmen eleka ah tum ah tum nahmen eleka
Nahmen eleka ah tum ah tum nahmen eleka
Nahmen eleka ah tum ah tum nahmen eleka" To her surprise, Nessa began to chant the words with her and wave her arms in the same manner.
The Wizard and Morrible felt their bodies begin to heat up quickly. More of the Animal Defense Force began to wave their arms around and chant the spell. Before anyone could finish chanting, both Morrible and the Wizard's bodies exploded with a loud BOOM! Everyone stopped chanting and stayed silent. Glinda looked around and both the Wizard and Morrible were gone, never to be seen again. A smile crept on her face.
"Elphie...." She said.
Elphaba opened her eyes and looked at Glinda. "Yes?" She asked
"You did it. You saved Oz."
"No. We saved Oz."
At that, everyone clapped and cheered. Glinda hugged Elphaba tightly and whispered "I'm so proud of you." As they hugged, Evanna and Azure joined in. As soon as they pulled away, Nessa walked over. Elphaba could not believe her eyes. "Nessa?" She asked.
"You were right the whole time, Elphaba. Animals do deserve rights, and I'm sorry I was blind to that the first time." All Elphaba could do was wipe away a tear and hug her sister tightly.
