  -We all know this man is having a ball at his castle/mansion/whatever the fuck it is.

  -He got you a super expensive (suit/dress) the night before and got it tailored the same night with you.
Why? Because knowing Angel and Alastors shenanigans, the (suit/dress) might get caught in the crossfire and be ruined.

  -it was hard enough for him to convince you to let him get you the outfit for the ball, he wasnt going to push it by suggesting that he could buy you another one if that one got damaged.

  -He done hired someone to help you gather accessories before you went to get the (dress/suit) tailored. Why? Because he loves you, and he doesn't want you paying for shit.

  -he also wants you to be happy, which is great considering usually people are shit at actually caring about others.

  -The person he hired kept suggesting expensive shit and tried hiding price tags but you kept finding out the actual prices and turning it down.

  -they told Lucifer about how well their adventure with you was going and asked for updates.

  -he hadn't finished anything, but the ball was mostly finished being set up (save for food because you ain't eating food that's been sitting out for a couple days.)

  -he especially didnt finish the surprise, but advised the demon he hired to try directing you away from the price tag rather than trying to hide it and make it obvious that it was expensive.

  -It somewhat worked.

  -you actually got some stuff to go with the outfit.

  -the day of the party the demon that was originally hired was with you once again, helping you dress up.

  -Once you finished, you got in a limo that was sent for you with the helper demon.

-Lucifer had put in a random demon in there for you, knocked out by a hit to the head and tied up on the other side of the limo.

  -he didnt want you to go hungry, he's so sweet to you.

  -helper demon looked slightly confused at the tied up demon, then heard what you said next

  -"Aw... He's so sweet. He got a snack for me if I get hungry on the way to the ball..."

  - did I mention the helper demon was a rabbit?

  -needless to say they shut up and just kinda sat there, slightly scared-

  -when you got to the ball, the helper had gotten out already and proceeded to help you out as well with a shake-y paw.

  -Paparazzi

  -you're dating the king of hell, you're famous now.

  -oh wow, confidence

  -the air was intoxicating, and it gave you the push you needed to continue with the remainder of the 24 hours of today.

  -you got to that one person who announces the arrival of people and once you were announced you just kinda slid down the railing.

  -Lucifer already knew what you were gonna do so he was waiting at the end of the railing and held you bridal style for a bit before putting you on your feet.

  -"You look marvelous."

  -"I know."

  - laughing from the both of you.

  - you go throughout the ball acting like teens/children, giggling at each other's dumbassery.

  -chocolate fountain? Lets just stick our claws in and just straight up eat it by itself.

  -fuck reputation, you dont need it

  -Every one keeps looking at you weird but all you can see is each other

  -Later, right after you both have the first dance and all that, he pulls you out to the garden.

  -Which one? Garden of Eden bitch. He has it in his backyard.

  -He brought you over to the legendary tree, a lake next to it reflected the dim light coming from the pentagram in the sky and made pretty patterns of light hit the tree at an angle, making some of the fruit shine.

  -he brought out a picnic blanket and some wine and everything-

  -He even brought another tied up demon that had been knocked out.

  -You both danced by the tree before sitting on the picnic blanket and cuddling under it because yes.

  -if it werent for that tree, he wouldnt have met you.

  -and every bit of suffering and anguish he had endured throughout the millennia was worth it.

  -anything was worth it if it was for you.
