After fixing up the C.O.R.E, things had somewhat returned to normal. Except the constant tests Alphys had Sans going through daily to make sure he was still stable. He was. Still, his magic levels were raising steadily. "I-it won't b-be long b-before y-you c-can't c-contain it a-anymore.." Sans hummed. "so what your saying is i gotta use this before i explode." Alphys paled at his bluntness on the matter and nodded. "M-more or l-less... I j-just don't kn-know who you c-could train with w-with such an p-power as th-the C.O.R.E... that c-could be very..."
"i know, al. i'll figure something out." Sans shrugged as if it was just another small problem that he could easily fix. It was easy for him to fix, it just wasn't a small problem. It scared Alphys. "S-sans! T-this is s-serious! Y-you of a-all p-people sh-should kn-know th-this!" Sans gave her a smile. "i know al, i've got this. trust me." Alphys gave a nod, really not having a choice in the matter.🎇🎇🎇
It was a blizzard in Snowdin as his slippers crunched in the snow. He stopped at the door, taking out a little silver key. After unlocking the door, he decended the stairs to the pitch black basement. It'd been a long while since he'd been down here. He turned on the light, going to his desk to continue his plans. "You're seriously going to use yourself as a conduit to free me?" Sans nodded. "yep. if i can learn to control output of the c.o.r.e magic, i can give that enough power to work. i'll need to repare it though.." He looked wearily at the tarp that covered the machine. He sighed once more and turned to focus on his plans. For awhile the only sounds that he could here was the howl of the wind and the occasional scratch of his pencil. That changed however with a crack. A loud and sudden snap that followed with being plunged into darkness. "... stars dammit... power's out.." Sans decided that checking on Papyrus would be the next best course of action. So he popped up to the house, finding it to be as dark as the basement. "papyrus!"
"I'M HERE!" Papyrus came in from the kitchen, right eye lit orange.🎇🎇🎇
"I WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF MAKING SPAGHETTI... MY POOR PASTA SHALL SURELY FREEZE NOW!" Papyrus whined. "'s ok bro. you can make a better batch when the power starts again.." How were the elevators working when Sans woke up? The C.O.R.E was out of commission... unless.. "THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE SUPPER! WE SHALL SURELY STARVE NOW!" It was worth a try. It was good practice too. "maybe not.. give me a sec." Sans pulled at his magic and snapped as if telling a blaster to fire... only instead the lights flickered to life in the house. "huh. it actually worked. wow." Papyrus jaw dropped. "WOWIE BROTHER! WHY DIDN'T YOU DO THIS SOONER?" Papyrus patted Sans head and went back to his spaghetti making. Sans snorted with laughter.
