Sans focused his magic on Gaster. How many times has he tried to rip the old skeleton out of the Void now? You really don't wanna know. Sans lost count. He couldn't seem to break through the fabric of space long enough to get a grip on him. "all the power in the underground and i still can't pull you out... go figure." Sans sighed as he took a small break. Not that he needed it, but he WAS still the laziest guy in the Underground... literally now that it was just him. "Oh quit complaining. You'll figure it out! You ARE the creation of the formal royal scientist, after all"
"uh-huh.. and was that supposed to boost your moral or mine?" Sans replied to the nonexistent skeleton. "... both?" Sans snorted. "oh thanks buddy. i'm sooooo pumped up now." Sans replied sarcastically. "remind me why i'm trying to pull you out again?" Gaster shrugged. "Because it's the right thing to do?" Sans was about to shoot back but... he felt someone enter his hall.. "... i'll be back.." He teleported to the hall to see a few humans in front of him. "uh, hey, should you be down h-" He didn't have time to realize the concealed weapons. They fired on him and riddled him with bullets.

"ugh... that was....... freaking rude......" Sans sat up slowly feeling just about as amazing as when he first absorbed the C.O.R.E. "wonderful.. i'm not dead." He decided not to even ask at this point and checked himself instead.

"go freaking figure... i'm practically immortal.." Welp. There was one thing to do here. Kick out whoever was breaking into the Underground. Sans located them rather quickly though. Taking a couple more seconds to restablize himself and figure out what the humans were after, he teleported to New Home. It seemed that they wanted information. Information is power, so why wouldn't they. Oof if Asgore knew that a human tried to kill him... well it didn't matter anyway. These guys were ALREADY going to have a bad time. "ya know... that wasn't very nice." This time Sans was ready when the bullets came flying. He teleported out of the way and killed one of them via burning bone. Melting bone? Disintegrating bone? What did his bones do to his victims? It hadn't really affected the amalgamates any. "later sans, later."

Was killing the humans his best course of action? Probably not. But he did have his reasons and he WAS the Judge for a reason. Reason number one: they were a threat to his friends and family. That was always top priority. Reason number two: they were in search of valuable information to harm monsterkind. He'd interrogated the remaining human and got that information from them. Reason number three: they shot him first. Petty as it was, it still hurt to get shot. "anyways where were we?" Gaster stared hard at Sans. "You were riddled with bullets and yet your still standing... you're not the LEAST bit curious as to why?"
"you said it yourself. i'm connected to the c.o.r.e now. so if the c.o.r.e is fine, then i'm fine." Sans replied as if it was normal. He may as well, he's far from freaking normal.
