ta daaaaa.

The drive to Adora's house was silent, a few words were shared like 'you okay?' and 'were almost here' Catra thought it was nice though, she'd fallen asleep again half way there, fortunately for her it was dreamless.

She woke up again when the car stopped, hearing Adora get out of the car and walk to her side. Catras side of the car door opened. Adora unbuckled her seatbelt and did something unexpected.

"Annnd scoop!" Adora had picked up catra bridal style, both of their cheeks turned a deep, rosy, red colour at the action and Catra hid her face in Adoras chest.

Adora carried her to the door.

"Oh- uhm catra, could you grab the key out of my inside jacket pocket and unlock the door please?" she asked, giving Catra puppy dog eyes.

Catra rolled her eyes, "Of course i can ya dummy," she slightly moved herself to grab the keys Adora asked for. She unlocked the door and Adora swiftly pushed through kicking it back closed behind her.

"Well this is it, my humble home," She stated, carefully putting Catra back on her feet.

Catra walked around taking in the scene around her, it was just a normal home, obviously with a few Adora additions such as: A light blue sword on the wall, A big picture of her in some sort of halloween costume riding a what even is that? a unicorn? a horse? and obviously Adoras pride and joy a wall full of race cars.

"I see you never let go of this hobby then," Catra smiled, poking and prodding at the many cars that covered the wall.

"Hey, hey! Hands off the goods, sweetie," She smirked back. Swatting Catras hand away.

Catra blushed at the pet name. Sweetie? Me i'm sweet? Yes i'm your sweetie.

"Uh, Catra you okay?" Adora asked, waving a hand infront of the frozen girls face.

"Haha! Me? Sweetie!- Uh yes i'm fine, HAHA allll goood~" She assured, "Where's your bathroom?"

Adora pointed towards the stairs going up, "first room on the left," She smiled, as well as giving her a concerned look.

Catra gave back an awkwardly carved smile and rushed up the stairs, running into the bathroom and slamming the door shut.

Oh my god, oh my fuckkk, oh no what am i doing! I'm completely forgetting the whole point of this, i'm supposed to kill this girl not figure out she's my childhood best friend/crush/fallen in love with the minute i met her.

"Stupid, Stupid!" Catra whisper-yelled, tears beginning to roll down her face, "I've messed this up so bad, Shadow Weavers gonna have my head,"

In an attempt to compose herself, she wiped her tears and splashed her face with water a few times, making sure to flush the toilet so it seemed like she'd actually gone. Catra left the bathroom and headed back down to Adora, who had set up quite the scene.

Catra smiled, Adora had set up the whole living area for the perfect sleepover, the tv had been moved to almost directly infront of the sofa, there were sweet treats and drinks on the coffee table nearby and many many blankets had been set out, just looking Catra knew she was about to go through a heatwave.

Adoras face began to blush, "Do you think it's okay? Or do i need more blankets!" The blonde girl panicked.

Catra chuckled, "You definitely do NOT need anymore blankets," She laughed, whilst tucking herself into position on the couch and getting comfy, she patted next to her in a gesture for Adora to come sit down. Who in fact did not hesitate and instantly jumped into the seat.

"So, how about some intense wrestling?" Adora asked, picking up the remote beside her. Catra nodded, the excitement clearly illuminating in her eyes. "Perfect,"

The two snuggled up close, not to the point where they were cuddling but close enough to the point where Catra could feel Adoras breath on the top of her head.

"Would you like to talk about the whole situation with Lonnie any time soon?" Adora asked, gently rubbed Catras shoulder.

"No, I'd just like it to be kept between me and Lonnie if that's okay?" Catra was no where near ready for Adora to find out yet if she did it would ruin everything.

As the wrestling match went on Catra felt Adora shuffling closer and closer by the minute.

Is she trying to cuddle me?

Catra understood the gesture and decided to take control of the situation, she rested her head onto Adoras chest and shuffled herself closer into Adoras lap, grabbing her hands and wrapping them around round her. She heard Adoras heartbeat quicken ever so slightly, which made her smile. Catra liked the confidence that maybe Adora felt the same way that she had for her for many, many years.

"You know, I've missed you so much kitty cat" Adora mumbled, it was very obvious she was falling asleep.

Catras blush grew even more, "Me too." She whispered, the tears she had forcing to her eyes again.

Catra wished with all her heart she could stay here forever, that this Horde mission would just go away and never come back, that all the rest of her lost memory's of her and her love came back and she could confess to Adora and they could both live happily ever after, but nothing was as simple as that. Catra knew this would all come out soon and when it does it's not going to end well.

Catra pulled Adoras arms around her tighter and slowly but eventually dozed off to sleep.
