Albedo: "Ah, Y/N, you're here. Excellent timing."

Y/N: "Good evening, Mr Albedo. You mentioned yesterday that you needed me tonight?"

Albedo: "Indeed. I would definitely appreciate an extra set of hands tonight, and both the other two I've already dismissed for the night."

Y/N: "Of course, Mr Albedo. Happy to help!"

Albedo: "Hmm, I wasn't so certain before when you proposed the idea initially, but I must say having you work a night shift has proved incredibly fruitful indeed."

Y/N: "Oh? I'm uh— glad to hear that! I'd hate to think I was being nothing but an inconvenience..."

Albedo: "Not at all. In fact, I might even go so far as to say it is reassuring to have someone of your calibre as company in the workshop this late at night... even if currently we are not in the workshop."

Y/N: "Please, Mr Albedo, my proficiency in alchemy is not even slightly comparable to your own! It is truly an honour to work beside you like this!"

Albedo: "...Hmm, I must admit though. There is something I find quite intriguing about you, puzzling even."

Y/N: "Oh? There is? What would that be, per chance, Mr Albedo?"

Albedo: "Your insistence on working a night shift instead of joining my other apprentices. And your complete non-existence in Mondstadt when the sun is out."

Y/N: "...Oh."

Albedo: "I must assume that there's a reason for it, as I hear you were really quite insistent on working the night hours. And you've yet to accept an invitation to any Knights of Favonius events or meetups. I imagine I might very well be the only Knight you've even interacted with, no?"

Y/N: "Well... I guess you are... and Grand Master Varka too, before he left on that expedition."

Albedo: "Ah yes, he was the one who recommended you to me. Although, I must say I've never heard of him privately including someone into the Knights like he did for you... Although, I suppose he had his reasons."

Y/N: "y–Yeah... So! That extra set of hands you wanted? And, uhm... was there a reason we're out here by the alchemical bench, out in the open, rather than the workshop?"

Albedo: "Ah, that? Well, Klee might have... accidentally blown up a portion of the workshop, again. Until it is fixed, we will have to make do out here. And with more primitive tools, your assistance would do quite well, if you would?"

Y/N: "Oh, yes Mr Albedo, right away sir!"

The night had progressed like it normally would, being mostly uneventful and safe from obstacles. And we made great leaps and bounds with our work tonight, and I didn't feel like too much of a nuisance to Albedo and his progress at all! I just wish it stayed that way...

Albedo: "Excellent, these experiments went exactly as I hoped. A very productive evening indeed."

Y/N: "I feel like that would have been the case even if I weren't here, if I'm being honest!"

Albedo: "Do not sell yourself short, Y/N. Your use of Whopperflower stamen for an organic adhesive was an excellent suggestion indeed. It is as you said, sometimes the best solution really is the simplest one."

Y/N: "Oh? Well, thanks! I'm glad I appeared to have been of some use after all!"

Albedo: "If you wouldn't mind, might you please take this box over to Flora's flower stand? I told her I'd leave it there for her, but I really must clean up this mess before it erodes the street paving."
