"Oh... The sun... it feels like it has been an eternity since I last savoured the sun's rays, I might have nearly forgotten what you looked like, what you felt like upon my skin..."It had been a long journey, with most of it spent hidden below the deck of the ship you had snuck aboard on. You tried to warn the others, as many as you could. But none of them believed you. After all, why would they? You were the only person not in on the plot to be made privy to the concept.
The Vision Hunt Decree.
You had a job with the Shogunate, working at the Kanjou Commission, and whilst you were standing guard you had heard the Master and his adopted daughter discussing the matter... they had said that those working within the Shogunate force would be spared their Visions for now, only being required to hand over their Vision once all others had been retrieved. But you did not wish to part with your Vision, nor for any of your friends to lose theirs either.
But perhaps they were not friends of yours after all? As somebody had ratted you out, reporting you to the higher ups about your whistleblowing. You were on duty at the time when the force arrived... The force of former friends and others who had come to arrest and detain you for your transgressions against the nation.
Fortunately, you were not helpless. Now, the Raiden Shogun's gift onto you would now be used against her own soldiers. And, with your Electro Vision held tightly in hand, you had managed to make your escape towards Ritou's harbour.
Fortunately, none of the Decrees had yet to be enforced publicly, so foreign trading vessels were still present within Inazuman waters. A fortune that you took advantage of, bringing nought but yourself and that which you held on your person with you as you snuck aboard the trading vessel and found a hiding spot amongst boxes of trading goods for the foreseeable future... until you were out of Inazuma.
There was just one problem with your plan... you stuck out like a sore thumb in this new land you had emerged into. Being the only person adorned in such foreign armour amongst simply clothed sailors and traders.
Guard: "You there! Please present your id and reason for visiting!"
Y/N: "m-me? Are you talking to me?"
Guard: "Yes, you. Strange yet respectable traveller, what is your reason for visiting today?"
Y/N: "I... it's complicated..."
Guard: "Is that so? If that is the case, might I inquire as to which vessel you arrived on to get here?"
Y/N: "The uh... The one from Inazuma...?"
Guard: "And to which Captain might you have arrived under the sail of?"
Y/N: "I... I'm not really good at remembering names..."
Guard: "Hmm... Rather suspicious, I must say. I'll need more to work with than that, or else I'll be forced to detain you until someone can clear your name."
I had no idea what to do. I hadn't expected to be interrogated walking through the docks so randomly as this. I wasn't even by any particular workstation. So either I was acting far too suspicious and brought them to me, or perhaps this isn't an official guard at all and rather just some scammer trying to pick easy targets who had just departed from a long trip on the sea...? I don't suppose I have much choice. I'd already managed to escape the Shogunate's clutches, I'm sure I could manage again here—
???: "Hmm? That armour... we don't often see Shogunate Soldiers so far from Inazuma. What seems to be the issue here, Knight?"
