Possession 24- Take a break

Hindi ko napansin ang oras. We discussed the revision for almost 2 hours already. I was stretching my neck nang mapansin iyon ni Sir Miguel. He held my shoulder which made me feel uncomfortable kaya iniwas ko ang balikat ko. Ever since I got engage with Gio, parang bigla akong naging uncomfortable sa mga lalaking humahawak sa akin. Unlike before okay lang when they tap my shoulder or beso beso with me but now, I always offer hand shake first.

"Sorry, I just want to ask if you're fine."

Mabilis na pag hingi niya ng panumanhin nang taasan ko siya ng kilay. I also raised my hand to stop kuya Dy cause I saw him coming closer through my pheripheral vision.

"Are we done sir?"

"Yeah. I think?"

Muli akong napataas ng kilay sa pangalawang pag kakataon.

"You think?"

"After your revision, I will check your work again then we'll have the final touch on your thesis."

I gave him a forced smile bago tumayo at pinadala kay kuya Dy ang laptop na dala ko. I really don't like how he looked at me. Mabuti na lang at lagi kong kasama si kuya Dy, but I feel sorry for those people who had a one on one session with this prof.

"Thank you for helping me today sir. I'll contact you once the revision is done."

I said before exiting the room with kuya Dy. I keep on stretching my neck because it is really hurting. Siguro dahil magdamang din akong nakayuko sa office ko simula kahapon. Working is no really joke. It's like the world I never wanted to enter. I mean you just seat on your office, read paper and sign some documents. The work is so easy but tiresome at the same time. How ironic isn't?

"Does it hurt a lot?"

Nagaalalang tanong ni kuya Dy. Napatingin ako sa kaniya saka tumango-tango.

"Let's stop by a pharmacy later. Pamasahe ka na din sa ate Lara mo pag-uwi."

"I think that would be good."

Tulad nga ng sinabi ni kuya Dy dumaan kami sa malapit na pharmacy at mukhang bumili siya ng salonpas. Pagdating ni kuya Dy pumasok siya sa backseat saka ako pinatalikod sa kaniya at nilagyan ang batok ko ng salonpas.

Maybe I should take a day off tomorrow.

Nang makarating kami sa bahay di ko na nagawang bilinan si ate Lara kaya naman sabi ni kuya Dy siya na daw ang bahala at pinasunod na lang sa akin si kuya Tom para siya muna ang magbantay sa labas ng kwarto ko.

Si kuya Dy ang bantay sa akin hanggat gising ako. But when Im already asleep iba na ang nagbabantay sa pinto ko because kuya Dy and Tom needs to be with me the next day Im awake.

Pag pasok ng kwarto, mabilis akong naghubad ng damit saka nagbathrobe at nag shower. I was suppose to have my milky bath today but feeling ko I would fell asleep in the tub again If I will take a milky bath.

Pagkatapos kong maligo mabilis akong ng palit ng sleeping wear ko which was a oversized shirt and a shorts. I was applying my night skin care nang may marinig akong kumatok sa pinto.

"Come in."

It was ate Lara na may dala pang manzanilla at tea ata 'yon.

"Okay ka na ba?"

"It feels so stiff ate."

I told her and she put some oil in her hands before massaging my nape. I can't help but close my eyes because of the soothing feeling I can feel. But those feeling didn't last, when my door was opened forcefully. I opened my eyes at iritang napatingin doon. Is he planning to break my door?
