Okay, so I don't like making it take so long for the states/countries to get places so as a solution I have this little head canon where there are certain little shortcuts that can shorten a trip by quite a bit. So like a trip to New York from DC would be cut down to like maybe 1 or 2 hours. (I only use that as an example because that'll be where they go most of the time)
