Colonial America -

"So, who'd he find?" Delaware asked as he began shifting in his seat.
"What happened to the Croatoan natives?" Georgia inquired.
"And what about the Wander family?" South Carolina added.
"Slow down, slow down," I said, "Let me continue..."

Roanoke - 1788

"W-what's your name?" I asked as I walked up to the man.
"My name is England, Great Britain's son." He stated.
"So am I," I explained, "My name is Roanoke,"
"Ah, so you're the little one father's been talking about. The one who's been staying in the New World."
I nodded, not really knowing what else to say.
"Come with me then, I'm sure father will be pleased to finally get to know you," He said, motioning for me to follow.

I did and we walked through the city. There were many people around, walking in the streets. I looked around. There were women in big poofy dresses walking to men in suits, some had powdered hair or silver wigs. Most had some kind of hat on and there were carriages roaming around the street and I saw England call one to a stop. We got in and the carriage took off. I watched as the scene rolled by and we passed many houses and people around the streets. We soon came to a stop at a tall building that was separated from the rest of the city. We left the carriage and went through the giant gates that blocked our passage. England yelled something and the gates opened.

We walked into the area, it was well taken care of and there were people running around and watering some plants. We passed by and entered the large castel. It was finely and elegantly decorated, covered with gold and objects made of many other precious metals. The halls were lined with a large, red carpet that stretched from the start of the hall to the end, there were little lamps outlining the room and a huge chandelier above us. There were two staircases leading to a second floor, both also lined with a red carpet. At the top of the staircase I spotted the familiar figure of Great Britain.

"Roanoke!" He exclaimed, "You've finally came!"
"Hello Great Britain," I said, a smile on my face.
"Come then, and follow me," He said.
I nodded and ran up to him, England following slowly behind.
"So tell me," Britain said as I followed him down the winding halls, "How has the colony done so far since my last visit?"
"We had gotten it built back up," I answered, "Though I'm still nervous about the Natives..."
Britain let a laugh escape, "Oh, don't worry about those indians, I'm sure nothing too big could happen,"
I cringed slightly at his comment, "When you came to the fort you noticed it was completely destroyed, right?"
"Relax, I'm sure nothing else will happen to it,"

We soon reached a giant dining room.
"Until you take your trip back, you can stay in a room here," Britain explained.
"How long does it take to get supplies," I asked.
"It usually depends," Britain said.
"Depends on what?"
"Multiple things," Britain answered vaguely.
"How helpful," I muttered under my breath.
"What was that?"
"Nothing!"

The day passed by and England led me off to my room. The building, as I've said before, was huge and I didn't look forward to navigating it. I followed England down the large, winding halls before he stopped at large wooden doors.
"This will be your room," He said, gesturing to the door then turning and leaving.
I walked in and found the room very well decorated with an air of elegance to it. In other words, nothing I was used to. I had become accustomed to the small, cramped houses. I looked around the room. There were large windows with red curtains and a bed in the center of the room. Two large oak dressers were off on one of the walls and there was a large red carpet in the middle of the room.
