"Wake up, Ali."
"Hmm..." I murmured and buried my face deeper into the pillow.
"Wake up." someone tickled me.
"Damon, shut up."
No more touching, I was delighted. He finally realized she should let me sleep, but the silence was so suspicious, so I slowly picked my head up.
"Father!" I screamed out. "What are you doing here?!"
He sat on my bed. First, he was totally confused but then I saw anger in his face. "Damon?"
"I'm... I'm sorry. I'm still having nightmares." I shook my head.
All tiredness gone, I took a deep breath to calm me down and his expression softened.
„I didn't know... It seemed to me you're behind it.“
„I'm trying.“ I smiled at him.
I'd rather let him think I have nightmares than tell him the truth.
I looked around but there was no forgotten shirt, no socks, no Damon.
„Do you need something?“ I tried to act absolutely normal.
„I know I was busy in last days.“ he said guilty.
I turned to him immediately and smiled at him.
„Dad, don't worry about me. I have fun with Kol, girl-talk with Rebekah and Elijah.... he teaches me. And with school I have no time for boring.“
„I'm glad that you like it here.“
I know whole time he worried about it.
„Any plans for today?“
„Morning classes are canceled. I want to try some spells.“
„If you need something...“
„I will let you know.“ I nodded.
I walked into the bathroom and shut the door behind me.
That was a close call...

I was walking to the school with smile on my face. I was really relaxed after a few spells.
„Hey, can you help me?“ some strange boy stood in front of me and laughed at my confused look.
„Yeah, sure, why not.“
„They gave me this little map but I'm completely lost. Do you know where the gym is?“
„I have class near you, I can show you.“ he smiled at me thankfully.
We walked side by side and he makes me curious.
He has special sparkle in his eyes, wind tousled his black hair.
I desperately want to know something about him.
„I'm Alexandra.“
„Zachary.“ he took my hand and I felt strong creepy sense, it takes my breath away for a moment.
I stepped back, he looked at me suspiciously. „Are you OK?“
„Did you feel anything?“
„What do you mean?“ he looked really worried.
„You know what? Never mind.“ I made myself smile. „So you are new here.“
„Yes, we just moved here.“ Did I heard sadness in his voice?
„I can show you this town if you'd like to. I know how it is to be new.“
Did not respond to me like he wasn't sure. But then he wrote his number to my wrist.
„Nice bracelet.”
He pulled his sleeve down. “It's family tradition.”
I´m sure I already saw this symbol but I don´t know why...
„Lavender?“
I looked at him surprisingly. He smiled when he see I don't understand.
„You smell like lavender.“
„Oh, thank you.“
„Hey! Zach!“ Some tall guy waved to us. He looks like Zach but he seems to be arrogant.
I am sure he already didn't like me.
„That's my brother. So I better go. Bye.“
He ran against his brother who hugged him protectively and he gave me last look of disgust.
