You were deep in your sleep when you got the flashbacks of things he did in the past.

The way he kept you locked in a room for days without food or water, the way he threatened to kill your dear ones if you ever tried to leave him.

You woke up in a haste, breathing heavily.

"Jagiya what happened?"

He tried to touch you but you scooted away from him. He looked at you sternly. You don't have to say anything, He understood what was wrong with you.

"Just fall asleep. Now!"

Tears escaped your eyes. He isn't in love with you. He can't be. He's just using you for some vague reason.

You closed your eyes shut and crawled into a ball, hugging your knees.

You then felt his arms embrace you from behind.

"I'll never be the same ever again. I promise. I won't hurt your family or friends. Their protection is my responsibility. I swear."

You could hear the generosity in his voice. You know he meant it. You turned back and hugged him. He kissed your forehead.

"Now go to sleep my love".

He returned home all covered up in blood. His white t-shirt was all drenched in blood. You were on your way to give him a hug just like how you do every single day after he returns home from work but you stopped dead in your tracks when you saw him like that.

You got the flashbacks of the time when you saw him this way the day he murdered your family.

Your eyes filled with tears as those memories flashed by your eyes and ran to your room.

"Y/N! Shi-"

He ran after you when he realized what just happened. He first went in to the washroom to wash up and change. He then went to your room.

"Y/N-"

"Who did you kill today? Someone close to me again?"

"I-"

He could hear the pain in your voice so he thought it was best to keep quiet.

He walked over to you and hugged you.

"I'm sorry. I know you'll never forgive me for what I did. But please believe me. I'll be a better person now. I swear. Please give me a chance."
