"We're not gonna join you, Mask!" Aloha yelled. "I don't want this to actually be real!"

Mask raised an eyebrow. "But it's not. Aloha, that's the point. This can really only be a dream. So, a war to wake us up might work."

"No. That's final. I'm not gonna help you, Mask. Never."

"And what about Army?" Vintage turned to the flower-crowned ginger, who had taken to hiding in the corner of the little home he had. "Will he join?"

Army seemingly hesitated, before shaking his head. "If w-we are going to die, I don't want t-to end up scared from my deaths."

Mask snarled. "Both of you, cowards. I would kill you, but Skull made me swear not to."

" Mom joined you?!" Aloha yelled, disbelief in his voice.

"He and Dad, yeah." Mask confirmed. "They joined the Red Forest. So, why not you two? Make it a family event."

"No. That's my final answer." Aloha said, confidently. "I won't join."

"Fine. Have it your way." Mask turned to leave, her hair blowing in the cool wind. "Vintage, come on."

Vintage huffed, glaring at the two lovers, before following Mask.

"Skull said nothing about an incidental death, did he?" Vintage asked, out of earshot of the couple. "I could sic my wolves on them."

Mask grinned. "Y'know, don't think he did. You bring your pack?"

Vintage smiled, and whistled. From the forest, about a quarter of his wolf pack made themselves known. "I always bring some of them. For protection."

"Fuck yeah. ...How do you get them to attack-"

Vintage held up a hand, as if saying 'Watch this', before clearing his throat. " Loups, attaquez!"

"Keep forgetting you're French..." Mask remarked.

The wolf pack snarled, running back to the clearing with teeth bared.

The communicators of the two buzzed but they thought nothing of it. The wolves returned with blood in their teeth and on their claws and they followed the two humans through the forest and back to the mansion. Skull waited for them, at the entrance. His eyes narrowed, and Aviators just behind him. "Mask, Vintage, you two have some explaining to do."

Mask just tilted his head. "What is it Mom?"

Skull held up his communicator, showing two death messages.

>Aloha was mauled by wolves. Aloha is now a RED LIFE

>Army was mauled by wolves.

"Seems like too much of a coincidence that after being payed a visit by the 'king of wolves' that Army and Aloha were killed by them. Hm?"

"And, that's all it is, monsieur." Vintage said, tone calm. "A coincidence. Nothing more, nothing less."

"Then, why do your wolves have blood on them?" Avi asked. "Care to explain that?"

"Sheep." Vintage said, while Mask replied with "Cow."

"Which is it then?" Skull asked, voice laced with venom. "A cow, or a sheep?"

"...Both?" Mask said, though his voice sounded more like a question.

Aviators sighed. "Mask... We told you not to harm them. You couldn't even listen to that request?"

"I couldn't let them just... Stay alive!" Mask yelled. "If we wanna all escape there needs to be a war. And It would be best for all of our family to be on one side! It was for your own fucking good so you didn't have to kill them yourself!"

"SO YOU KILLED YOUR OWN BROTHERS!?" Skull pointed at Mask, accusatorily. "You would kill your own brother and his lover just so your parents wouldn't have to. You are no better than if I had done that so you would not have to. This... Mask, being a red life, it'd changed you! You're normally not like this!"

One could cut the tension in the air with a knife, before Vintage spoke. "Technically, I sicked my wolves on them-"

"You stay out of this, Vintage." Aviators warned. "Trust me, you do NOT want Skull to get any more angry."

Skull sighed. "We're done here. Mask, Vintage, I'm leaving the Red Forest. If Avi wants to stay, fine. But I don't." He stormed past his child and now former ally.

"...Well, Aviators?" Vintage started. "You want to join that traitor?"

Aviators nodded, without a second thought. "Mask, I... As your father, I still love you and care deeply about you. But as Skull's husband, I promised to be at his side, 'till death do us part. Plus, the way you treated Aloha after he said 'no' to joining, was unacceptable. I'm sorry." He gave Mask a quick hug, before heading through the forest, following Skull.

"...Want me to sic the wolves?" Vintage asked. Mask shook his head.

"It's not worth it. Skull would kill most of them." She turned to enter the mansion. "So, who could we ask to join..?"

"Perhaps Emperor?" Vintage suggested, following him in. "If we get him, we also get Prince and Gloves."

"But we also loose the possibility of Regent. And we know how strong he is." Mask said. "Regent might be better. Along with Goggles and Rider. But if Regent doesn't join we'll get the other Castilo siblings." Their face turned into a wicked grin. "And, we're no longer bound by Skull's promise. If Rider and Goggles say no... well, the wolves might be useful, there..."
