"They got to Goggles and Rider before us." Vintage said.

"To be fair," Mask started, "Rider and Army are close. But no matter, we still have three others. They have two."

"Uh, three, actually." Vintage stated. "I'm assuming Regent would join them since we have Emperor and Prince. And Avi and Skull would probably join them. So, we're outnumbered."

"Unless you count your army of wolves."

"True, true... Well, sides have been chosen." Vintage knelt before Mask. "Which is why I ask you to turn me red."

Mask raised an eyebrow. "You wanna go red?"

"I wish to be able to help you as much as I can. I believe that includes reaching my red life... If you will?"

Mask raised an eyebrow. "You'd probably die a lot quicker, though."

Vintage looked up at him. "Isn't that our goal?"

"Good point. You sure, though?"

Vintage nodded. "Positive."

Mask placed down a bed, and drew his sword. "Set your spawn."

"Alright." Vintage tapped the bed, feeling a small link form. "Ready." He knelt again, closing his eyes.

The red life plunged her sword through Vintage's neck, chopping off his head. Blood covered the blade as their com buzzed.

A few seconds later, Vintage re-appeared on the bed, the fade in his hair now yellow. "Ready."

Mask just thrust the sword through Vintage's chest, once again killing him as her com buzzed again and again. People getting worried now that there's three red lives, probably.

Once more, Vintage woke up on the bed, his fade now red, like it was in the before times. "There. That's much better." He grinned. "Now, I may help you fully."

"You could've done that before." Mask stated. "You don't need to be red to directly kill someone, you know?"

"I know, but this will speed up our plan to get this done as soon as possible. I thought it was for the better." Vintage said. "Besides, now... I can strike more fear in others than before."

"...Okay, you're scaring me."

"Good. If I can scare a red life I can freak out the others." Vintage smirked.

Mask sighed. "Oh god, this is gonna get chaotic.."
