Lets do it for Johnny man!

Dally's P.O.V is for the rest of this story, next chapter is the las chapter and if you watched the movie or read the book, sadly you know whas next. 

Dally's P.O.V 

I was on my way to the rumble, I thought about things like Johnny, how would things be after this, everything. after tonight, things were going to change.

I slowly walked through the neighborhood walking towards the lot, I thought about it. " Lets do it for Johnny man. Lets do it for Johnny.' I kept saying to myself. I'm going to do this for Johnny. then sneak ran around a bush where the lot was covered by greasers and  socs.  "you know a rumble aint a rumble wihout me" I yelled and he fight began, running through the lot, I tackled the first soc I seen, I got up and got hit by one kid in the mouth but I got him back, upper cuttting him to the floor. it began to rain, I got more hyped and watching soc, after soc come after me them. one I knocked out and kicked to the floor. around me was more socs and grasers fighting, heads being knocked into things, punches, kicks, it was like a war. thats when all the socs started to run off, like they saw a ghost or something. we chased them out of the lot. we had won, then I saw pony laying on the ground and he was hurt really bad. I went over to him as fast as I can and picked him up.

I walked him, no fuck it, I dragged him to my car which kinda sucked cause of how far it was, the kid was hurt bad. I put him in the car and started to drive really fast. "We're going to see Johnny man."  I was driving as fast as I could, I had a feeling I needed to make it to Johnny. a cop soon after me, I pulled over. "act sick and I'll pretend I'm taking you to the hospital" I said to Pony. 

The cop came up to the window. "you got a good reason to be driving like that." He said. "The kid fell off his motorcycle, I'm taking him to the hospital." I lied. "How bad is he."" Do I look like a doctor? he looks pretty bad to me." I continued. "Follow me" he let out. he walked back to his bike,"Sucker" I let out. the cop led the way. "I was crazy you know that, I was crazy about keeping Johnny out of trouble." I said, I just needed to let it out, regardless of winning a rumble or not, I just wanted the kid to be safe. "If he was smart like me, he wouldn't be in this mess, If he was smart like me he would have never ran in that church." I really wish he never did, he was burnt bad, and I didn't know if I was going to lose him or not. after telling Pony to wise up a little we got to the hospital.

Still dragging Pony alone, I looked through room numbers. I seen a doctor at the door. "I'm sorry boys you can't see him."  "Come on man, we need to."  I let out. "He's dying" I pulled my blade out. "Let us see him man." The doctor froze. "go right ahead, but I'm not letting you see him cause of that blade, its cause your his friends." The doctor walked away. We walked in the room seeing Johnny, it looked like he was weak. I let pony go and walked up to Johnny and kneeled down."Hey Johnny, we beat the socs, we chased them out of our neighborhood." I said. "Its useless, fighting aint no good." he said sounding week as ever, maybe he was tired."They're still writing editorials in the papers about you being a hero, we're all proud of you, its gonna be alright" I let out. I knew it was, everything was gonna be find after, we were going to be at peace but then."Pony boy" he said, "Stay gold ponyboy, stay gold" Johnny said. wait what, what was happening, and then his last breath. Maybe I was just tripping "Johnny, come on." I said but nothing was said back. he was really dead, I lost him, I had nothing anymore. "So, this is what you get for helping people?" I let out. He helped those kids and now hes dead, the only person I ever loved is dead, I had nothing now in this world. I started to cry "Come on Johnny, don't die, come on, don't die on me now." I cried, I was broking, I got up and hit the wall. "bastards." I yelled, and walked out the room.
