"So we have a plan." Y/n looks to the conference room table where Steve and Tony are sitting going over the plan on how to stop the winter soldier. 

"We certainly do." Stark stands from his chair making his way to Y/n, who stands steady not fully knowing what the man is planning until he holds out his hand in front of her. "Thank you."

"Uh, of course Stark. Just doing my job." Y/n takes the man's hand giving it a small shake as Stark gives her a half appreciative smile. 

"Are we able to track him down Tony?" Y/n and Tony turn their heads to look at Steve who hasn't taken his eyes off the picture in front of him. 

"Of course I can. I'm Tony Stark, I can do anything." Y/n rolls her eyes at the man's smugness as he starts fiddling with his tablet to get things rolling while Y/n walks to behind where Steve is sitting.

“You okay Steve?” Y/n’s voice is tender as her eyes dart to the picture of bucky that Steve is holding.

“Yeah, I just…I…I can’t believe he is alive.” Y/n nods softly and brings her hands up to squeeze his shoulders. 

“I am sorry I couldn't tell you and had to let you find it out for yourselves. Some things need to remain the same for it to work out, otherwise I could mess up a whole lot of the future.” Steve turns his head to look over his shoulder at Y/n.

“I don’t trust you completely and I don’t like you, but Fury sees something in you and you have brought me hope. So even though we have got off on the wrong foot and we don’t like each other, I do just want to say thank you. Whatever reasons you have for helping us, you must be putting a lot at risk when we didn’t even know about your existence until 2 weeks ago.” Y/n gives a curt smile before her eyes flick back to Tony.

“You two good here? I have places to be.” Tony waves his hand dismissively not even looking at Y/n and she takes that as her signal to leave.

She enters the hallway, closing the door behind her and letting out a small sigh. She had been working and training with Steve nearly everyday, while helping Tony with improvements in his suits as she slowly and carefully gave them all of the information she could about the winter shoulder. It started with small details about where he could possibly be hiding out, what preparations needed to be made to fight and contain him. Tony had remembered some things she mentioned during her time in the cell and was able to find many pieces of footage of the soldier’s work. 

She had done everything in her power to change the way things end up, even stopping a fight on a bridge between the winter soldier and Steve and his friends. She had to delay when everyone found out who he was, so they wouldn’t go looking for him and start the domino effect of events. 

“Hey, how is it going?” Y/n startles at the voice next to her, her hand on her chest as she uses the other one to smack the person's arm.

“Don’t scare me like that sharon.” Sharon laughs holding her hands up in fake surrender as she starts walking backwards down the hallway, Y/n pushing herself off the wall to join her side.

“I thought you could see into the future and all of that shit.” Sharon links her arm around Y/n’s as they both stroll towards the communal living room.

“Not quite. I can’t see everything and anything that is going to happen, only things that are of great significance to the outcome of certain events. So I have to stop a certain event, so another one can take place even though there is a plan in place to stop that event as well.” Sharon raises her brow a small look of confusion.

“So your main goal is to stop all the events from occurring by making Steve find Bucky and Nat find yelena. I’m confused.” 

“It is confusing but I will explain everything once I've done my job. With finding Bucky and Yelena this way it stops a lot of destruction and makes it easier on all of us to stop what I've come to stop.”
