When we got to Pickford's house his parents were in the driveway, packing their car, getting ready to go away for the weekend. Pink acted like he didn't already know they were going away. When we got up to Pickford's room, him and Michelle were sitting in his egg chair together. Pink and Slater were sitting on Pickford's bed, while I was sitting on the window sill, looking out the window. While looking out the window I saw a truck pull up with kegs in the back and Pickford's parents go and talk to the guy that got out. Then Pickford's parents start walking inside. "Oh, shit." I said. "What?" Pickford said, looking at me. "I think the keg guy came a little early." I said, pointing out the window. Before Pickford could get up, to look out the window, there was a knock at his door. Pickford and Pink hurried and sprayed lysol around and Pink waved incense around too. Slater moved to the egg chair and Michelle moved and sat by me. Pickford finally opened the door as Pink sat back down on the bed and Slater put his weed under his shirt, to hide it. "Did you order some kegs of beer?" Mr. Pickford asked, very seriously. "No." Pickford said, acting innocently. "Well theirs a fella out at the beer truck thats says you did." Mr Pickford said. "Oh, really? Let me go check." Pickford said closing his door and going over to the window. Mr. Pickford opened the door right away. "That guy said I ordered a keg of beer?" Pickford turned around. "Yeah. He said it was to be delivered to the Pickford's residence." Mr. Pickford said, pointing at the floor. "This address?" Pickford asked, moving his hair out of his face. "This address." Mr. Pickford said smiling. "Well, I better go down there and see what this is all about." Pickford said. "Yeah, I think you better." Mr. Pickford said. "I'll be right back." Pickford said, making his way outside. Mr. Pickford turned to us, "You guys know anything about a party tonight?" We all replied "No.". "Party's canceled." Pickford said, when he came back up. "He came early because he had some big date." Everyone sighed. "Well, I'm sure we'll all just end up driving around and hanging out tonight anyway." Pink said, getting up. "You ready to go, Erin?" "Yeah." I said, getting up and hugging Michelle. "You want to come with the baseball game with me?" Pink asked, driving off. "Uh, yeah. Sure." I said, moving my hair out of my face. We finally got to the baseball field. "You excited to see some Benny action?" Pink asked, smirking and opening the door for me. "Oh, piss off, man." I said, annoyed. When we got closer to the field, I could see Benny, Don, O'Bannion, and Melvin, leaning on the railing, taunting Mitch. The game was getting over and everyone was leaving. Pink got stuck talking to this older couple. I left and caught up with the other guys. I could see where they went off too, so I just hung out by the same railing they were and waited for Pink to catch up. Pink finally caught up and I followed him over to the other side of the field, in the other parking lot were the guys were getting Mitch. "With Pickford's party being busted, me and the other guys were going to go up to the emporium. You wanna join us?" Benny asked me and Pink. Pink was getting ready to "bust" Mitch. He wound up and swung down hard but just tapped him with the paddle. "Yeah, Me and Erin will just have to go home and change." Pink said, giving Melvin his paddle back. Well, why don't you give Mitch a ride home, Benny can give me one and you can come pick me up?" I said. "Yeah, all right." Pink said, grabbing Mitch's stuff and handing it to him. They walked off to Pink's car. Me, Benny, and Melvin all headed to Benny's truck. Benny put his arm around me. "You excited for tonight?" "Yeah, I just hope a fight doesn't happen." I said, looking up at him. "I'm not going to promise you that won't happen." Benny said, opening the driver door, letting me in first. I sat in between Benny and Melvin. Me and Benny live a few houses away from each other and Melvin lives on the way to our neighborhood. After we dropped off Melvin, Benny made his way to our street. Benny rested his hand on my thigh. We pulled up to my house and stopped. "I'll see you later tonight?" Benny asked, putting the car in park and taking his foot off the brake. "Oh, you will." I said, getting my purse ready. "Promise?" Benny asked, smirking and taking his hand off my thigh. "Yeah, I promise." I smirked and kissed his cheek. Benny smirked back. I got out and closed the door and made my way up to my front door. "Try not to look too sexy tonight." Benny called out. "I can't promise anything." I called back, smiling and unlocking my door. He started to drive off. I waved as he pulled away. He stuck his hand out the driver side window and waved back. I opened my door and went inside. I made my way to my bed room, to get ready for one of the best nights/mornings of my live.
