I got to Benny's truck and him and Mel were still dancing a little bit. Benny helped me up in the truck, "So, what's up babe?" Benny handed me my beer. "Nothing really. I think Mitch is going to have a fun time when he goes home to his mom though." I smiled. "I have something to talk to you about when we leave later, okay." I said. "What about?" Benny asked. "I'll tell you later." I smiled. We danced for a little while longer then the other girls left, leaving Benny, Mel, and I. We just sat in the back talking and drinking. Mel left after a while to go find Don, leaving just Benny and I. Benny patted his lap for me to come sit. I sat on his lap and was looking up at the stars. Benny had one arm wrapped around my waist. I lit up a cig and blew the smoke out slowly. "So, do you know what you wanna do for college?" Benny asked. "I don't know. I'm always really good in my English classes and I really like English but at the same time I don't even really know if I do want to go to college. And if I do end up wanting to go to college, I don't know which one to go to, like if I would stay here and go to college or move somewhere else and go." I said. "You can just go to whatever college I go to so then you won't be alone." Benny smiled. I smiled too. "And besides you still have all summer and next year to fully think about it." Benny added. "Yeah, you're right." I said. Then Pink came over to the truck. "I gotta talk to Pink for a sec." Benny said. "Okay." I got off his lap. Benny got down and then helped me down. Benny and Pink got into the truck while I went and walked around. The party had kinda died down a little. People where either walking around with friends or sitting with friends. I found Woods and talked to him for a little bit. Then I saw Key, Cynthia, and Pink and went over to them. I went and stood by Pink and Cynthia was saying something. "I call it the "every other decade" theory. The 50's were boring. The 60's rocked. The 70's, my god, they obviously suck. So maybe the 80s will be like, radical. I figure we'll be in our 20's and hey, it can't get any worse." Cynthia did have a good point there. "That's not a bad theory." I smiled. She smiled back. Then we heard a commotion. A stupid fight had broken out. I looked to see who it was and I saw Clint, no big surprise, and I saw Mike. "Oh my god. It's Mike." I hit Pink's shoulder. Pink went running over there. Cynthia and I followed. Just about everyone had formed a circle around them. Pink and Woods got in there. Woods pulled Clint off and Pink got Mike up. Mike was kinda crying and walked away with Tony. Everyone started to go back to what there were doing. I went over to where Tony and Mike walked off to. I found them sitting in the back of Pink's car with Sabrina there too. "Let me see your face." I said to Mike. He put his head up but didn't look at me. His lip was busted and his eye was all red and swollen. I pulled a Kleenex out and cleaned the blood of his lip. "You'll defiantly have a black eye tomorrow. As soon as you get home put some ice on it, that will a least help the swelling go down. Okay?" I said. "Okay. Thanks Erin." Mike looked at me. "Hey, Sabrina." I said. "Hey." She smiled. I looked at her and Tony. I looked at her and winked. She blushed a little. I made my way back over to Benny again. He was still sitting in the back of his truck. He helped me up and we both sat down. "So, how's Mike lookin'?" Benny asked. "His lip is busted and he'll most definitely have a black eye tomorrow." I said. Mel came aver and told us he was getting a ride fro. Someone else and was going home. "Do you wanna get out of here?" Benny asked. "Sure. Where to?" I asked. "We could go down to the lake." Benny said. "Alright. Let's go.." We both got down and got into the truck. The party had really died after the fight. Barely anyone was there anymore. We drove away from the Moon Tower and were off to the lake. What could possibly happen there?
