We got to the lake and Benny parked. "So, what do you want to do?" Benny set his keys up on the dash. "We could lay down in the back and watch the stars." I smiled. "Okay." Benny smiled too. Benny grabbed the blanket from behind the seats and went and laid it out in the back. I took my shoes off and put them on the floor. I got out and lit a cig. Benny helped me up in the back. I took a couple more puffs and flicked my cig out. We both laid down on the blanket next to each other and looked up a the stars. "Its so weird how theres just so many of them." Benny said. "Yeah." I agreed. Benny grabbed me hand and held it, I could feel my cheeks turn red. "What was that thing you wanted to talk to me about?" Benny turned his head and looked at me. I completely forgot that I told Benny that I wanted to talk to him later. Now there was no avoiding the subject. "Right, the thing." I smiled, nervously. "I know we've been friends for a long time and I don't want this to ruin our friendship in any way, shape, or form. But, I kinda like you as more than a friend." I could feel my heart pounding. It felt like it was going to pound out of my chest. Benny turned and laid on his side, towards me. I couldn't look at him. "Yeah?" Benny asked. "Yeah." I nodded. I continued to look up at the stars. "Erin, look at me." Benny said. I hesitantly turned my head to him. His eyes trailed my face. He started to lean  in. No way was he about to kiss me. He leaned in more and his lips touched mine. He was actually going to kiss me!! I kissed back. I've dreamed about this happening since our freshman year and now its finally happening. Benny got on top of me and we started making out. My heart was really pounding now. "Mm, wait, wait" I said. "What?" Benny looked down at me. "What are you doing?" I smiled. "Oh come on, Erin. I know you know I like you." Benny said. "I know. I just wanted to hear you say it. And besides Pink and Don have been telling me you like me." I smiled and pecked his nose. "Oh, they have. Well, Erin. I really, really like you." Benny kissed me in between words. We had another little make out sesh. "Do you wanna go to my house? My parents are gone all weekend." I smiled. "Sure." Benny got up. He helped me up and off the the truck. He grabbed the blanket and we both got back into the truck. I sat in the middle, next to Benny. He turned and kissed me and then started the truck. I put my shoes back on and then we made our way to my house. We pulled into my driveway and got out. I grabbed my keys from my purse and unlocked the front door and let us inside. We got in and I closed and locked the door behind Benny. We went downstairs to my room. I took off my shoes and put them in my closet. "So, what are we going to do?" Benny sat down on my bed. "Go to bed." I said, grabbing my pajama's and going to the bathroom to change. I threw my clothes in the hamper and went back to my room. Benny was already shirtless and in bed. I got into bed and smiled. I snuggled up next to him and he looked at me. "What are you smiling at?" He asked. "I've just always thought about us being together and it actually happening now and I'm happy." I said. "Well, I'm glad you're happy." Benny kissed my head. "Erin, can I ask you something very important?" Benny said. "Yeah, anything." I said. "Do you wanna go on a date with me tomorrow night?" Benny asked. "I would love to." I smiled. "Good." Benny kissed me. "Remind me to call Pink tomorrow." I said. "Okay." Benny said, sleepily. I opened my eyes and Benny was already passed out, asleep. I smiled and snuggled up to him and fell asleep too.
