Benny and I went into our senior year, happier than ever with our friends. We made some of the best memories and had some of the greatest parties. We both graduated class of 77', and were going to college together. Benny got a scholarship and majored in business and I majored in English literature. After we graduated college, we moved in together. Benny got a CEO job and I became a english teacher at our Highschool. After a little while, Benny proposed. Of course I said yes. We invited all of our friends. Pink and Simone had broken up the summer before college and now him and Jodi we together.. Don and Shavonne are still in a on again- off again relationship. Mitch and Julie are in college together now. Even Wooderson came, he was still working for the city. But the greatest thing of all is a phone call I got a few years after we got married. It was Saturday morning, I was doing dishes and Benny was out mowing the lawn, when the phone started ringing. I dried off my hands and answered it. "Hello." I said. "This is a collect call from the Austin county jail. Do you accept the charges?" The recorded voice said. "Yes." The line rang twice and connected. "Is this Erin O'Donnell?" The voice said. "Yes." I was very confused. " It's me, Wooderson. I may have broken our promise." He said. "You don't say." I smiled. All the memories came rushing back to me. I smiled as I remembered that last day of school in 1976, a time I would never forget, if only I could remember.
