Chapter 1

Tanjiro woke up one fateful morning. Why fateful you may ask. Today was the day he moved into his college dorms. Having been accepted into the prestigious Kimetsu Academy, his head was a boiling pot of emotions. He regretted having to leave his family behind but he's ecstatic that he finally gets to experience independence.

Tanjiro packed all of his belongings and headed to the door."Big Brother Tanjiro!!" Around the corner, Tanjiro's brothers and sisters rushed to give him a hug. "We're gonna miss you so much!" Takeo yelled. Tanjiro giggled, spending his parting moments with those he cherishes most eased the pressure on his chest. "Please come visit us whenever you can" Nezuko smiled at her older brother. Tanjiro turned to her and smiled back "Take care of the young ones while Mom is at work okay?" He told Nezuko. Nezuko nodded in response. "I better get going now, I'll see you soon guys, behave well" Tanjiro added before closing the door behind him and heading down the road.

Kimetsu Academy was quite a ways away from Tanjiro's home. Several stations to be exact. Using some of the money his mother gave him, he caught a cab to the station. After arriving at the station, he lined up to board the train.

"Help someone! He took my bag" a voice shrieked in the back. Tanjiro reacted as fast as possible, leaving his belongings where he stood mere seconds ago.
"This station's full of people. How will I know which one it is." Tanjiro thought to himself. He took a deep breath in and focused on the scents around him. One scent, getting further and further away from him smelled of panic. Immediately, Tanjiro bolted off in that direction, following the scent.

"Give that lady her purse back" He yelled after the thief. "No chance loser" The thief replied. After a minute, Tanjiro caught up to the thief and tackled him to the ground. The thief clearly had done this before as he was wearing a mask to hide his identity. Tanjiro straddled the thief and held him by the collar. "I'll be taking the purse back now" He said, trying to sound menacing despite his pure demeanor. "Don't give me that crap. Get off me!" The thief struggled under Tanjiro. Anger welled up inside Tanjiro and his breathing rate increased. "CALM DOWN!" Tanjiro pulled the thief's collar and smashed his forehead against his own. A crack ran down the thief's mask and shattered. The thief threw Tanjiro off him and ran in the opposite direction.
Tanjiro looked up and caught a glimpse of a lock of blue hair before the thief turned the corner.

"I hope I'm not too late because of that chase" Tanjiro thought to himself as he returned to the station. He walked up to the service station to find the woman who had been robbed and his belongings waiting for him on the side. "I have your purse Miss" Tanjiro said. "Thank you very much young man" The woman thanked. Tanjiro said his farewells, took his belongings and boarded the next train.

He took a seat next to the window and braced for a long journey. Watching the scenery fly past him put him into a trance and it was not long before he dozed off. "...Next stop is Shibuya station. Please get off here" Tanjiro jolted awake and hastily grabbed his items before running out of the train. He checked the time at the station. It showed "4:10"

"I've got 20 minutes to make it to school." He thought to himself as he took his items up. Surely enough 20 minutes later he arrived at school. He looked around before feeling a tap on his shoulders.
"You lost kid?" A man with a blue robe asked Tanjiro
"I just don't know where the dorms are" Tanjiro replied
"Follow me. You aren't the first this year. My name's Urokodaki Sakonji by the way"
"Thank you Mr. Sakonji" Tanjiro added as he followed him to the dorms

Tanjiro arrived to a bunch of students mingling infront of the dorms. His heart rate climbed as he approached them. His anxiety building up. As soon as he arrived, a very beautiful, rather serene looking teacher walked up to a stand on a stage
"Good afternoon students, Welcome to Kimetsu Academy, I'm the college headmaster, Lady Tamayo. In about a few minutes we'll assign your rooms. However as of this year, we have decided to refurbish our dorm system. We spent the holidays renovating our rooms. As of this year, three students will be sharing a dorm room. However, each student will have their own individual room. They will share a common room and kitchen. So you will find all you need in the dorm rooms and we hope you enjoy your college lives. Go rest up for a few minutes while the staff prepares dinner."

The male side of the audience blared at the end of the speech.Boys screaming at the top of their lungs and chatting amongst each other. "Did you see her!?"
"She's so beautiful!" Tanjiro couldn't help but giggle at their reaction. After the commotion had died down, Tanjiro headed to the room he had been assigned on the key he was given.

He walked up to his door and heard voices coming from inside it. "Oh those must be my roommate-Are they arguing?" Tanjiro thought to himself as he hurried to open the door. His eyes widened at the scene before him...

OMG It feels so much better to write like this. Anyway that's the first chapter done. I will update this regularly so look forward to it. If any of you guys have any suggestions please feel free to let me know :)
