Chapter 12

"Relax... It's only one touch... You have nothing to worry about..." An anonymous voice said.
"N-No leave me alone" Tanjiro whimpered.
"Don't be so uptight. You know you like it" the voice continued. Tanjiro tried to push the person away.
"STOP! DONT TOUCH ME!" Tanjiro yelled.
"You ungrateful bitch" The voice yelled. He swung his hand towards Tanjiro's face. As soon as the hand made contact, Tanjiro yelled.

"Monjiro....MONJIRO" Inosuke shook Tanjiro. He was breathing heavy and was sweating. He looked around and found he was still in the shed next to the ritual ground.
"Oi is everything alright?" Inosuke asked,"you were shaking and mumbling in your sleep..."
"Yeah... Just had a nightmare... I'm fine" Tanjiro said rubbing his head. He looked towards the clock.
"How long was I out?" Tanjiro asked, still a bit dazed
"Well you fell asleep at 8 30 and now it's 5 pm and I'm no good at maths" Inosuke  needed that laugh" Tanjiro breathed.
"Always here to provide it" Inosuke proclaimed. Tanjiro glanced at Inosuke and hid under the futon blanket.
"Hmm? Kentaro?" Inosuke questioned before lifting the futon off Tanjiro to reveal his extremely red face.
Tanjiro quickly covered his face and whimpered. Inosuke slightly chuckled.
"You're so adorable" He said, kissing the scarred boy's forehead. Tanjiro whimpered again but more comfortably this time. Inosuke couldn't get enough of his boyfriend anymore. He inched closer to Tanjiro and cupped his face.
"If you keep acting so cute I won't be able to hold myself" Inosuke whispered. The two of them cuddled under their sheets for a while.

"I guess it's time to head back home. I'm feeling a lot better." Tanjiro said.
Inosuke groaned. He was enjoying the rare alone time he had with his boyfriend. He didn't want to think about the restrictions he would have if he were to return to the house.
"Oi Monjiro" Inosuke called
"Yes Ino?" Tanjiro cocked his head.
"Do you... Maybe... If you feel like it....wanna go on a d-date w-with m-me?" Inosuke stuttered, scratching his face to deal with the anxiety.
Tanjiro burst into laughter, nearly collapsing to the floor.
"OI WHAT'S SO FUNNY HUH? YOU WANNA FIGHT?!" Inosuke yelled, making Tanjiro laugh even more.
"You're adorable when you're embarrassed you know. I'd love to go on a date" Tanjiro smiled. The two of them packed their belongings and left the shed. Inosuke grabbed ahold of Tanjiro's hand along the way and gripped it tight. Tanjiro looked up at him with rosy cheeks and smiled. Inosuke looked back at Tanjiro. This was the period in his life when he was truly happy. He wished it would never end...

They reached home in time for dinner.
"How was it?" Kie smiled.
"Tiring as usual but we got it done" Tanjiro replied.
"Did you two have fun?" Nezuko smirked from across the table.
Inosuke's face turned a deep shade of red. Tanjiro and Kie shared a laugh.
"How can you guys laugh about this?" Inosuke panicked, making Tanjiro, Nezuko and Kie laugh even harder.
"You got a good one Tanjiro" Kie laughed.
Tanjiro looked at Inosuke and flashed a bright smile
"I know..."

"Tanjiro dear help me in the kitchen" Kie called. Tanjiro hopped off the couch and joined his mother in the kitchen. One of Tanjiro's siblings ran up to Inosuke.
"Big bro Ino!.." Hanako called. Inosuke's eyes widened as he shifted his attention to the kid infront of him.
"Let's play a game!" Hanako smiled. Inosuke entertained her until she got bored. Tanjiro sat back down next to him.
"So big bro Ino yeah?" Tanjiro nudged Inosuke's arm. Inosuke's face flushed red.
"I like nicknames" he said, with a fuzzy feeling. The family then enjoyed dinner and a lovely day before Christmas. The next day spelt a good day for the couple: their very first date!!
