Chapter 7

"Since today's Wednesday I'll give you all a week to complete your assignment." A young man with pale hair stated.
"Yes Mr Yushiro" The class resounded.
"Class dismissed" The teacher excused the class. Tanjiro, Inosuke and Zenitsu walked out of their classrooms, with bags under their eyes.
"Soo...tired" Inosuke yawned.
"You know what'll wake us up. KARAOKE!" Zenitsu suggested.
"Oh I love karaoke! I'm coming" Tanjiro complied
"Count me out, I'm so tired." Inosuke replied
"Well I guess it's just you and me Tanjiro"
"On second thought, I'll tag along" Inosuke changed his mind.
"Great. Nezuko's gonna meet us there in an hour so let's go. We'll get a discount since we're in uniform" Zenitsu chirped.
The trio headed off campus and got on the train. Less than 5 mins in Tanjiro felt two weights on his shoulders. On his left, Inosuke's head was on his shoulders and on his right Zenitsu's was on his shoulders.
"These two really like sleeping" Tanjiro giggled. Eventually they arrived at the station they were headed to and hopped off the train.
"This way" Zenitsu pointed ahead of him.
Infront of them was a bit so flashy building. It seemed quite large compared to the buildings around it and they could see colourful light coming from it. They walked in and their jaws dropped to the floor. The room was flooded with flashy lights, there was a long bar right in the middle of the room and there were multiple compartments to enjoy karaoke in peace. Welcome to Fireoke, what can I do for you. A young man,very similar to Rengoku,spoke from behind the counter.
"Are you by any chance Kyojurous brother?" Tanjiro asked
"What gave it away?" The boy chuckled
"You look almost identical" Inosuke added.
"Anyway can we have a room for 4? The last person should be here right about now" Zenitsu said
As if answering his call, Nezuko walked into the building. Tanjiro and Inosuke looked at Zenitsu in shock
"How'd you do that?" Inosuke asked
"BUILT. DIFFERENT" Zenitsu replied, flexing his make believe muscles. Tanjiro turned towards Nezuko.
"So you invited Zenitsu out huh? I ship it" Tanjiro nudged Nezuko
"So you let Inosuke sleep on your shoulder huh? I ship it" Nezuko nudged Tanjiro
"Fair Play. You're becoming too smart and I don't like it" Tanjiro and Nezuko laughed together.
"Come on guys. We got a room" Zenitsu called. Everyone followed Zenitsu into the room.

"The room's soundproofed so you can sing to your heart's content" Zenitsu added. So the group had fun singing together.
"Guys I have an idea!" Nezuko called
"What is it" The three said simultaneously
"Let's sing solo's!"
The whole group instantly agreed. Zenitsu sang a country song. Nezuko sang a kpop song. Inosuke rapped and now it was Tanjiro's turn.
"Please don't judge me for the song I'm about to pick. I practice it alot." Tanjiro shyly said. The song title was Into You by Ariana Grande

Tanjiro finished singing and turned back to his friends. Nezuko was grinning widely. Zenitsu and Inosuke were both as red as tomatoes. "That was amazing Tanjiro!" Nezuko replied, clapping her hands. Zenitsu furiously nodded in agreement. However, Inosuke put his head in his hands , covering his face. He started shaking ," His voice! It's so beautiful!" All Inosuke could think about was Tanjiro's voice.
"Inosuke, you alright?" Tanjiro asked, concerned
"Yeah yeah you just shocked me really. You have an amazing voice" Inosuke complimented Tanjiro. Tanjiro face flushed bright red. He smiled at Inosuke.
"Thank you!"

After a while, Tanjiro and Inosuke found themselves singing together.
"Man I'm thirsty" Zenitsu complained
"I'm glad you're admitting it" Nezuko replied
"Not that kind of thirsty. I'm actually thirsty"
"Am I wrong though?"
"Fair play. I'm gonna go get a drink at the bar. You wanna tag along?" Zenitsu asked Nezuko
"Sure why not. We'll be back in a bit guys" Nezuko waved.

Tanjiro and Inosuke were in the room vibing to their tunes. Inosuke really enjoyed the music. While Tanjiro was singing, he was jumping all over the place. But he made the mistake of closing his eyes while doing so. Inevitably, he bumped into Tanjiro and they both tumbled to the floor. Inosuke opened his eyes and saw Tanjiro beneath him. His face mere centimetres from Tanjiro's. The two of them blushed and started stuttering.
" So-Sorry" Inosuke muttered. Tanjiro burst into laughter before looking back up at Inosuke.
"We always somehow end up in these positions don't we. It's okay though. It lets me admire those beautiful eyes" Tanjiro smiled. Inosuke's eyes widened and he jumped off Tanjiro, trying his best to hide his face. Tanjiro, just realising that he had spoken what he was thinking, placed his hands over his mouth and shut his eyes.
"Kentaro... Kentaro open your eyes" Tanjiro slowly opened his eyes again. He saw Inosuke above him once again.
"There we go. Now I get to admire those pretty eyes too." Inosuke stated, his red face doing him no favours. As if being pulled together by some invisible force, their faces drifted closer and closer until their lips were mere centimetres apart...
In an instant, Inosuke jumped off Tanjiro and back on to his feet. Tanjiro scrambled to his feet as well because less the 3 seconds later, Zenitsu and Nezuko walked back into the room...

8 minutes earlier at the bar

"I'll have a Sprite please" Zenitsu ordered
"Me too" Nezuko called
"Hey Nezuko I have something I wanna tell you"
"Oh sure what is it?"
"I think I have feelings for Tanjiro and I don't know what to do"
" Woah. That was unexpected." Nezuko said. "I would've thought Inosuke liked Tanjiro but Zenitsu too?" Nezuko thought
"What should I do?" Zenitsu asked
"Show him you're interested in him and when he shows that he's interested in you too pop the big question" Nezuko replied
"I think marriage is a little too fast no?" Zenitsu said
"No not marriage. I mean ask him to date you. Big Bro's got a big heart he'll probably say yes"
"I know. It's one of the reasons I fell for him"
"Let's head back. We've finished our drinks" Nezuko added. The pair walked back to their karaoke room.

"H-hey Guys" Tanjiro stuttered.
"Yo" Nezuko replied.
"Time to go?" Tanjiro responded
"Yup"  The four of them payed and left the venue.
"That was fun!" Zenitsu said
"Some parts more than others" Inosuke chuckled. Tanjiro's face went red.
They reached the train station and said goodbye to Nezuko.
"Long ride home" Tanjiro sighed
"At least it's with you" Zenitsu smiled.
Tanjiro smiled at Zenitsu and boarded the train. Now begins the battle of who can secure Tanjiro first...

Yay drama. I finally decided to go with the idea of Zenitsu being into Tanjiro. Also in the next chapter I'll put YouTube links of both Tanjiro and Inosuke singing different songs. They're really good singers. See you guys next chapter!!
