TWENTY SEVEN

"TURN!" Su-Hyeok yelled to everyone as they formed the crates into a circle as zombies came rushing at them. "Get in! Get in!" Joon-Yeong shouted. "Close it!"

A zombie was about to run through the gap but Soo-Jin was quick to kick it in the chest, making it fall to the ground. "Close it!" She yelled, and Su-Hyeok and Cheong-San tied to crates together, using the rope.

"Did you tie it?"

"Done! Push!" Su-Hyeok answered, and they all began to do as told. They pushed forward so they could make it over to the door, while fighting off the zombies that were trying to climb over. "Push! Damn it!"

"They're climbing over!" Mi-Jin cried out. "It won't budge!" Dae-Su groaned. "Push harder!" Joon-Yeong ordered, and Soo-Jin did as told, pushing as hard as she could.

"It won't move!"

Cheong-San began using the metal bat  to hit off the monsters, and Su-Hyeok soon followed after. Ha-Ri began shooting her arrows at the zombies and Soo-Jin out her foot into one of the gaps of the crates to bring herself up and she punched one square in the face.

"Be careful, Soo-Jin." Wu-Jin yelled over to her and gently tugged her down before picking up a squishy pad that was on the sides and using that to hit the zombies away.

This went on for a while. People were grabbed and pulled by the zombies, and thankful to the others for helping them get away.

"Mi-Jin!" Soo-Jin cried out, as she watched her sister get pulled by a zombie as she tried to push away a zombie herself. Joon-Yeong glanced over at Soo-Jin, before running towards Mi-Jin and hitting the monster away - but as he did, it bit his hand, and Mi-Jin stuck the spear through its head.

"Joon-Yeong!" Soo-Jin gasped, running over to him and her sister on the floor. She looked down at his hand and her eyes widened. There was blood covering at and teeth marks indented into his skin.

He glanced between the Park siblings before sighing. "Shit... I said I'd take responsibility." The next minute, Joon-Yeong stood up from the floor and climbed over the crates.

"What are you doing?! Hey, wait?!" Mi-Jin called out for him.

"Joon-Yeong!"

"Hey! Hey!"

"Joon-Yeong!"

"Where are you going?!"

"Hey! Don't go!"

He was pulled to the ground by the zombies and then they began biting into him. Soo-Jin's mouth fell open as she watched the scene play out.

"Get off!" Joon-Yeong yelled, once he'd got up from the floor and began pulling the monsters away from his friends. "Push! Push!" He told them as another one bit into his shoulders. "Hurry up and push!"

Hearing her sisters cried and Joon-Yeong whimpers of pain made tears form in Soo-Jin's eyes. She bowed her head as she pushed so she wouldn't have to see.

"Go home!" He yelled. "Make it home! Go home! Make it home!" He continued to yell as his nose began bleeding and tears fell from his eyes.

"Joon-Seong!" Mi-Jin shouted for him. "Keep going!" He yelled back. "Keep going! Keep going! Keep going..."

"No! No! Stop it! No! Wait!" Mi-Jin tried to grip onto the boys hand as he was being pulled down to the ground. "I'm sorry.." he apologized, before being piled on.

A tear fell from Soo-Jin's eyes and she quickly wiped it away before anyone else could see it and continued pushing, while biting down hard on her lip.

"Push!" Su-Hyeok yelled over the cries of everyone else. They carried on pushing and eventually, they'd made it to their destination and opened up the crates so they were cornered by the exit.

Su-Hyeok tried to open the door but it wouldn't budge. On-Jo rushed over to the Lee boy to help him, but it still wouldn't open.

Soo-Jin helped Wu-Jin hit off the zombies that were climbing over. "Soo-Jin!" Wu-Jin cried out, as a zombie reached down and went to take a chunk out of her neck, but luckily, Wu-Jin hit it away harshly.

"Fuck! Off! You! Fucking! Bastard!" He yelled as he furiously bashed the monster away from Soo-Jin.

Once the girl was free, she let out a sigh of relief and turned around to continue on helping Wu-Jin after thanking him.

"Fuckers!" Soo-Jin screeched as she began throwing punches at the zombies coming at her from left and right. "Shitheads! Piss! The fuck off!"

Suddenly, Su-Hyeok rushed over to her and wrapped his arms around her waist to pull her down and away from the monsters.

Soon after, the door opened and revealed a man standing on the opposite side. "Dad..." On-Jo muttered to the man before her and running into his arms.

The students ran out the door and Cheong-San slammed the door shut, just as the zombies were about to come out.

Soo-Jin let out a huff and sat herself down on the step, running a hand through her hair.

"Okay," Mr. Nam began. "Are you all able to run?" He asked everyone and they nodded. "Good. Okay, if you go straight through the tennis courts and pass the construction site, you'll hit the mountain. If you cross the mountain and get to Yangdong—-"

"Mr Nam!" Cheong-San cut him off as he he watched as a zombie came running at them. "Dad, no!" On-Jo cried out, while watching as Mr. Nam ran for the monster. He flipped him over and broke his leg. "Kids! Run!" He ordered, and they did as told.

"To the tennis court!"
