My regret

Kate's POV
"Now Kate I know this is the first day back of school and your a senior, but that doesn't give you the right to be a maniac around other student. Seniors are supposed to be role models in this school. Now I'm going to give you a warning but I don't want this happening again", said the principle.

"Yes Aunt Crystal", said Kate.
"Now Kate you know how I don't like you saying that in front of the other students and faculty of the school. Now run along and I will see you at home after school."
Kate always forgot that she wasn't supposed to say that her aunt was the principal because then people would think that she favored her more(which she did). After her dad died in the coma Kate's mom's sister started helping a lot and to keep company for them. Kate would cry all the time when she was little so it was nice to have her there and it still is.

She walked down the hallway and met up with Merissa at their locker.

"Hey you, you made me do all of the work. Where were you I was starting to get worried."

"I was with my aunt. I didnt have any money so I tried to reach my hand up the vending machine, but then Mr. Conrad saw me and busted me. But of course she always let's me off with a warning."

"Oh, ok. Yea it must be cool to have your aunt as your principal."

"Yea."

RING

"Well time to go to class, uh, I do not want to go to Mr. Conrad's class, you know he's always been out to get me", said Kate.
"You'll work through it, bye."

I wish i could tell the whole world about my secret love for M....

"Hey watch where your, oh I'm so sorry Mr. Conrad."
"Your fine Kate I'll see you in class."

That was close, I wander why he didn't yell at me. Well i guess it's true what they say, an apple a day keeps the leeches away. Except i never ate an apple, but he's sort of like a leech.

"Hey dork-o-stine, love the outfit.

(giggles)

"Hi Samara, I see you got a lot nicer over the summer. Is that a new shirt."

"Yea my dad bought it for me in Italy."

"Than I really hope that it's returnable."

"Says the girl who doesn't have a dad to buy things for her."
The room grew silent. Everyone knew what happened to Kate's father, no one could foreget. They really liked Samara but they also felt bad for Kate.

Kate stood still with her back turned from Samara. She was almost about to cry until Mr. Conrad walked in and completely afraid. She did not sit down though.

"Kate is everything ok."

"Yes(sniffel), I'm fine."

"Ok, then sit down", he immediately saw her tears running down her face. He instantly wanted to help her and hold her but he knew he had to keep low and keep going.

The bell rang and Kate ran out of that class room. She was not in the mood to talking to anyone, even Merissa.

I regret not being able to meet my father because it's mostly my fault. If I wasn't born, or even a live my dad wouldn't have died in the coma from that stupid car crash. I regret not being able to hold my mom when she lost him. But I couldn't because I was a baby. I regret my entire life. Was i even supposed to be born?
