I'm picking up where I left off from the last chapter. So glad to be writing again!
Matt's POV
"Wow this is so good", said Kate as she drank her coffee."See I told you if you tried a new kind of coffee that you would like it."
She is so cute. I wish I could tell her how I feel without making a fool out of myself.
"So are you sure that nothing is going on with you because you seen tense and stressed out."
He knew that she wanted to tell him something but couldn't find the words to tell him.
"I just need to find out more and tell you when I'm ready...if that's ok?"
"Of course."
They walked outside of the coffee shop and went into his car and drove home. When they were driving home they had bad traffic on the highway but Kate noticed something.
"Matt look someone got in a wreck. I'm going to get out and get a closer look."
"No kate stay", but he was to late she was already out of the car walking towards the crash like everyone else. He began to follow her but once he got to her she was in tears and he soon realized why.
"Mom! Mr. Conrad, I mean dad or.... How did this happen how did u die in this car crash!"
She was huddled up to Matt when they took the bodies away in a body bag. She cried and cried and then...
---------------------------------------------
"Kate honey your having a bad dream wake up", her mother yelled.
"Mom it was terrible dream you and Mr. Conrad got into a crash and both died.
"Kate I think your going to have to start calling Mr. Conrad, Dad."
"I can't do that mom because he's not my dad he left us. I don't care if he wasn't ready he left us, he left me."
She walked out of the room hoping that her mom wouldn't follow her and she didn't. Her mom went into her bedroom with the door closed and went back to sleep.
Of course Kate didn't realize it was 3 am but she didn't want to go back to sleep anyways. She went into the family room and turned on the tv to the news channel.
