Was It A Dream

Kate's POV
"Kate honey, your going to be late for school if you don't get your butt going",said her mom.

"Mom we need to talk about what happened yesterday in Mr. Conrad's room. I'm sorry I stormed off like that but I did have a good reason for it."

"Honey I have no idea what your talking about. Now go on or your going to be late."

That was so weird. Maybe she's just in denial about everything that went down yesterday.

"Hey Samara I think something weird is going on. My mom is acting strange about the whole thing I told you about yesterday and I think shes just in danial but I don't know."

"What are you talking about? Why would I ever talk to you! Eww bye."

Now Samara is acting like I didnt just tell her the biggest thing ever and is ignoring me now. What's happening? Was it just a dream?

"Ok class when you get done reading your chapter for tonight just go ahead and just watch some tv or something you crazy kids!"

"Mr. Conrad can I speak to you please?"

"Ah yes Kate my favorite student, of course what do you need to tell me?"

"Are you really my father!"

"Ahhhhhhhh!!"

"Honey honey wake up please! You've been screaming father for 10 minutes now! Now I know that you've just been delivered strange news from Mr. Conrad but you need to learn to accept it sooner or later it's been 3 weeks."

Oh yay it was just a dream I was really hoping that my life wouldn't be normal for once, but of course it has to be in a dream to get what I want.

"I know mom but I just can't believe that he would've abandoned us like that. I mean I know that I don't have a normal life but....", she started to sob. Her mom walked to her and sat beside her on the bed.

"You know when we found out that I was pregnant we were so happy to find out that we were going to have a boy. But when we found out at your birth that you weren't a boy we were still so delighted by your presence. Your right you aren't normal, your special. I would never want you to be normal because its boring. I would want you to be what you want to be."

"Thanks mom. Well I better get to school."

"Honey?"

"Yea."

"It's Saturday."

"Oh. Then I'll just go on a run clear my mind."

Why cant I just let it go, but why cant my life be a dream. I just want to be a happy good living 2 parent teenager that rarely has any problems in her life except boys. Speaking of boys.

"Hey Matt."

"Hi Kate. How are you I havent seen you in a while is something wrong?"

He knows me so well.

"Um, no just busy with stuff. Do you want to go to coffee down the street? I'll buy."

"Sure but what kind of gentleman would I be if I let the lady pay? Haha."

This is my normal. My dream. I wish!
