17. Klaus

You're Klaus's adopted daughter and you wake up scared because you had a nightmare and you want your dad to tell you a story but he's right now meeting with some guests.

You're name is Y/N Mikealson Klaus adopted you when you were nearly 4. He was just walking around trying to find his next lunch when he heard someone cry he walked over to an alley to find you hiding with woren out dress.

"Love what are you doing here all alone?" He asked you cruching down to your level and you whimpered and pulled your knees closer to your chest.

"Hiding"You told him which only got him to question even more.

"Why are you hiding?"

"Steve told me that I will be with mommy in heaven soon so I ran away" You said and he smile turned into a sad one. He picked you up and carried you bridal style into the compound.

4 years later

You're dad just tucked you in and told you a bedtime story. You loved all his stories especially since he told you he was over a 1000 years old and lived through them. You started to call him dad a little after he saved you.

You woke up in cold sweat. You had a nightmare again. Your dad always told you to find him if that ever happened. So you took your plushie and held him thightly when you worked up the courage to step out of your room.

You saw that there was light inside one of the rooms and you started walking the floor being cold under your feet.

Klaus was right now dealing woth the Salvatores. Stefan came asking him if he could help them defeat their latest villian. Klaus had to think about it it's been a while since he was in a good fight but he just couldn't leave you alone.

"Please we need your help look if Damon's asking you of all people for help we're desperate" Stefan said and got smack into the back of his head by his brother. The brothers glared at each other before wanting to continue but a little girl interrupted them.

"Daddy I had a nightmare" You said and Klaus spun around and looked at you. He wanted to avoid telling them he had taken in a child in fear they might use her to get to him one day. He kneeled down to your level and kissed you forehead. "Will you tell me the story about the wolf king please" You said in your sleepy voice and he smiled down at you.

"Sure I just need to finish this okay love" he said and picked you up placing you on his hip.

"Okay I will be there but we aren't gone more than two days understood baby vamps" he said and you chuckled at the nickname he gave the two men standing infront of you.

"That is new" Stefan commented while Damon was just looking at the girl trying to figure out what she saw in him to call him dad.

"Yeah well things change. You can go now or stay here the night" Klaus offered and Damon quickly retorted.

"Sure we stay and then you ri-" He began to say when his brothers hand came flying to his mouth.

"There's s kid here watch it" he whispered to him and you looked at daddy.

"Was he going to say a bad word?" You asked your dad and both of them had to bite their lip to prevent chuckling.

"Yes but his brother stopped him" Klaus said and you frowned confused.

"But you said that if someone says a bad word he gets spanked" At this point Stefan couldn't hold his laughter and burst out at the image of Klaus spanking his brother. While Damon just glared at him if he could he would be dead that very second. Klaus trying to save the situation said.

"Yes I did but it's impolite to hit strangers" he set you down."Now go back to bed alright love I will be with you shortly" with that you went back to your room.

"Strangers seriously I think frenemies would be more accurate" Damon snapped at the hybrid who just laughed.

"Would you rather I bend you over my knee. Trust me you should have seen Elijha's face when he slipped and she demanded that when it applies to her it applies to anyone" Klaus told him and both of them burts out laughing. They almost perfectly imagined that the noble original got spanked by his little brother.

"Now I have to go I have a daughter to put to bed" And with that he walked away and into your room to see you sitting on your bed. You layed down under the covers and he layed beside you.

"Once upon a time there was wolf king who fought a war for the most precious treasure in all the kingdom his beautiful little princess. But bad people wanted the princess all to themselves. You know because she was special she had the power that none of them did. She had the power of love. Just like you my little one. The wolf king at last won and protected his little princess. But you should know that with us there's always another chapter to be told" He said and looked you you were soundly sleeping.

Stefan and Damon were walking out of the compound and on the way they saw Elijah and Rebekah entering.

"Gentleman what are you doing here" Elijha asked and both of the brothers were trying to hold their laugh in not to disrespect the noble original. Rebekah smiled already knowing Nik told them.

"We were just talking to your brother we need his help" Stefan answered.

"So why the grin?" He asked again not getting it. Damon taking the opportunity teased the noble original.

"Well the little on stumbled into the room and we heard an interesting story about your slip up" Damon said smirking and Elijha's face immediately went to anger.

"That son of a-----Niklaus were are you you little", And with that He stormed upstairs to find his younger brother.
