10. Damon

Damon and his daughter are dancing at the school dance.

It was a school dance that happened every year and you loved it. It was just you and your dad since you were kid. Sure your Uncle Stefan came to visit but he had a life of his own. When you found out it's going to happen sooner.

You and your two best friends Miranda and Meredith went clothes shopping. You found a beautiful navy blue dress that would suit you perfectly. Meredith had short red dress that went perfectly with her black hair and brown eyes. And Miranda had found a gorgeous short knee length white dress that lighted up her blue eyes and blond hair.

When you got home you imediatly put the dress in your room and went to do your homework. The dance was in two days and you couldn't wait. You were currently trying to solve a math problem which seemed impossible when your dad walked carrying your favorite food. Bananas in chocolate.

You thanked him amd kissed his cheek and hopped on the bed watching some show on the tablet while eating.

The two days went by really quickly and soon it was time to get ready. You called over you friends and you were getting ready together. Meredith even brought her twin sister Vicky Bennett.

Meredith did your hair. It was in curls while hers was just naturally curly and you helped her put some hair clips. Miranda's hair was straightened while Vicky's short hair was pulled up in a bun.

You waled down the where your dad waited to drop you off at the school.

"Hello girls" He greeted them.

"Hi Damon" They greeted him back. For them he was your older brother who's been taking care of you. You couldn't just spill the secret of vampirism to them. That was one of the rules that was in the never break pile along with dying which you found amusing.

You got to the school and your dad whispered in your ear.

"I'll see you later princess. You look amazing" You smiled and kissed him on the cheek.

You and your friends had a great night. You danced, you laughed and even your crush Liam asked you to dance. You were glad your dad would be here a lot later since if he saw you dancing with a boy he would most likely chew him into tiny little pieces and feed him to squirrels.

You danced to slow to slow music and then something unexpected happened, out of the blue je kissed you. Deciding it was enough to hide your feelings you kissed him back. You looked into each other's eyes and smiled.

When you were getting a drink when your friends bombarded you with questions. You liked Liam since the first day you stepped into the school and saw him in your class. You gossiped but it was inturopted by your dad clearing his throat.

He asked you to dance and with the manners from the 19th century he lead you to the dance floor where a slow music was playing.

"So you kissed a boy?" He asked you with a not really nice tone.

"No, Miranda did" You told him and he shot you a glare and pointed to his ears signaling that he heard your heartbeat. You then gave up and sighed. "Maybe" He smiled and you continued to sway to the rythm of the music.

"You look so beautiful my sweet little girl" He told you and just laughed. "What can't a father appreciate that hus daughter is beautiful"

"You say that every time" you tell him.

"Because everytime it's true" he tells you back and you continue enjoying the night until the dance ends. Dad drives your friends to their houses and then you home. You take down the dress and change into some PJ'S. You lay down on your bed smiling at the beautiful night you just had.
