13. Damon

Your Damon's girlfriend and you're in a car crash. Idk what else to put here. :D

Your name's Y/N Donovan. Your Matt's youngest sister. When je found out about your relationship with the eldest Salvatore vampire, he didn't approve. Said you deserved better but you tried to tell him numerous times that you can't control love but he wouldn't listen.

This was one of the times when you two got caught up in an argument. He found out that you and Damon were going on a trip together and thought he's going to kill you like he did with your elder sister Vicky.

"No you don't understand" You screamed at him rage filling your whole body.

"I understand perfectly. He either compelled you or seduced you with his other charms. BECAUSE HE AND HIS BROTHER WILL NEVER CHANGE" he screamed at you on top of his lungs and he was lucky there was nothing to throw or you would have.

"Sedu- Seduced me you are out of your mind Matt. Since I found out I have been wearing vervain and if he wanted to kill me so much he HAD PLENTY OPPORTUNITIES" You screamed back. " IF IT WASN'T FOR YOU ELENA WOULD BE STILL HUMAN" he looked taken back by your words that you would use this.

"I HAD NOTHING to do with that you know that was Rebekah and you don't think I know that" He said. "But if ot wasn't for him Vicky would still be alive and mom never would have left" He said and that's when you said that enough is enough. You grabbed your keys and phone and ran out of the house leaving the door wide open.

"Y/N COME BACK HERE RIGHT NOW" He shouted but you started the car and drow away. On the way you dialed Damon.

"Hello my beautiful girlfr-" he cut himself off when he hear with his hearing that you were sobbing. "What's Y/N?" He asked his voice so soft.

"It's Matt he found out about the trip and he said it's all just an attempt to kill me and I got so mad so I took the car and drove away. Could I stay with you?" You told him and asked. You could almost hear his soft smile on the face he had right now. He hated when you and your brother fought because of him.

"Sure I'll be waiting for-" That was inturopted when a deer a came running through the rood causing you to hit the breaks but it wasn't good enough and your car flipped over several times.
"Y/N what happened? Hey can you hear me answer me Please............. I beg you" His voice cracking. When you didn't he immediately realized that you must ne unconscious.

He called 911 saying you were in a car crash that he heard everything. Damon ran to the road that lead from your house to his and already saw the paramedics pulling out a bloody body out of there.

He hoped against all odds that it wasn't yours and that you were with someone. He ran towards you several people trying to stop him but that was no match for his vampire strength.

"Y/N no come on open your eyes. I demand you to open your eyes. Please" he begged but it was no use you weren't responding.

"Sir were taking care of her, you have to step back" one pf the paramedics said and tried to pull him off of you but it was no use.

"She's my girlfriend, I'll stay till I know she's alright" he told them sternly.

"Sir we're sorry but you need to step away so we can save her life" he said still remaining calm having these situations often. Damon was about to compel him when his brothers voice brought him out of it.

"Damon" he said and Damon ran over to him hugging his brother. Stefan going his hand up and down his back.

"She's though she's going to make it you'll see" he whispered to his brother.

It has been a few days since they brought you to the hospital. You had a tube that helped you breath and attached to several machines. Damon never once left your side. It worried his brother but he was also glad that he found someone to care about so much.

You slowly open your eyes but there was something stopping you from talking. You opened your eyes fully and saw your boyfriend's face. If you could you would smile. He called one of the nurses and they took the tube out allowing you to breath normally.

"Hey you gave us all a big scare" He said and a tear slipped down hus cheek. You chuckled at first he thought it was because of the pain meds but then you spoke.

"Damon Salvatore the big bad vampire who snaps and kills people impulsively is crying over a girl, I feel honored" You joked and he laughed with you.

"Good thing you never lost your sense of humor" he told you and kissed you on the lips. You then groaned when you looked at your whole body being covered in tubes and needles. " What are you okay does something hurt?" Ne asked worriedly.

"No just realized it's gonna suck removing those" You told him and smiled taking your hand and said."I will be with you the entire time you have nothing to worry about"

After 3 excruciatingly long weeks they let you. Damon insisted on multiple occasions that you take his blood but you didn't want to bring any suspicion as to why a girl that was literally near the death came out without a scratch a week later.

You were now on the couch in Salvatore boarding house sitting with your boyfriend and everything seemed like it was finally good and you were gonna live your life as you want to.
