8. Elijha

You're Elijha's adoptive daughter and you're studying for a test but he's Mr.Perfect and all knowing.

Since you were a baby that Elijha found in alley in New Orleans he's been taking care of you. You loved him but sometimes he could be Mr.Perfect. Also you couldn't keep a secret somehow he always found out.

You were coming back from school after a long day. Your teacher just announced that you were having a test tomorrow that was supposed to be next week. After ranting about it to your friends you walked in the compound.

You got yourself something from the kitchen and then went to your room. You were hoping you could learn the whole topic before your dad gets home. Not like he had much to do anyway. History was never your favorite that's why it was harder then usual.

After 2 hours of looking at the material you decide that it was enough torture and went to get some ice cream to the park. On the way home you spotted your dad walking on the street casually in his suit. You quickly turned the other way hoping he wouldn't see you.

Curse vampire abilities and he smelled your scent and you could hear footsteps behind you. Hoping against all odds it wasn't your dad.

"Y/N aren't you supposed to be home studying for the history test?" He asked you looking at you and you gave him an innocent smile.

"I already did when I got home from school" You answered truthfully.

"Great then you shall have no problem answering a few questions right?" He asked you and smirked.

"Yeah sure no problem I will do great tomorrow" You said and were about to walk away but he stopped you with his hand.

"Home. Now" he said and tou groaned and walked home with your dad. When you reached the compound and your room. You hopped on your bed and he took in the text book looked at the material. Smiled when he saw the theme was Civil War 1864.

"Okay why did the Civil War start?" He asked you and you thought about it before answering.

"The Civil War started because of uncompromising differences between the free and slave states over the power of the national government" You answered and he nodded.

"How many casualties were there?" He asked again.

"300"

"No there 346. Come on history is a very important part of education" He started to say you just tuned out everything after the world education. You knew he meant good but it was getting annoying. Having a dad that lived through history.

"Y/N are you even listening to me" That brought you out of your thoughts.

"Yeah of course" you answered although you had no idea what he was talking about.

"Remember super hearing and your hearth just skipped a beat" He reminded you.

"Dad I love you but you're getting all Mr.Allknowing again. You could let me live a little" You said and he nodded before sitting next to you on your bed.

"I know I'm just afraid that if I do you'll grow up and won't need me anymore"he confesses and you hug him.

"I will always be your little girl don't worry but if you want to stay that way you could always make me immortal" you suggested. Since you 15th birthday you've been begging your dad to turn you but he would refuse saying it would ruin your life.

"Absolutely not you're young and you have the whole world for you to explore. If you were a vampire you could never have children" he explained to you.

"I know I know but I had to try it" You smile and and embrace your dad.
