9.Stefan

Stefan's human daughter is sick and he tales care of her.

You were a miracle to your dad,your uncle and basically everyone who knew you. You were human though your father and mother were both vampires. Your dad was always worried about you whenever you got hurt or sick.

That was one of the reasons while you tried to get to the boarding house before he did. To avoid questions about why you look so pale as your friends have mentioned.

You get home from school and you lay down on your bed because you're not feeling well. Not seconds later you pass out drifting into the darkness. From the peace of the sleep you're awaken by your uncle Damon.

"Hey Y/N you alright you fell asleep I've been calling your name for 5 minutes" Your Uncle asks you but all you can focus on is that you need to trow up. You look outside and see it's already getting dark. Imediatly you ran to your bathroom and puking into the toilet. He holds your hair and you stand up and go over to the sink to clean yourself up.

"Whoa hey are you okay" And that's the last thing you hear before your eyes roll back and you pass out right in that moment though your uncle catches you with ease and puts you on your bed.

He gets out his phone and calls his brother informing him about you.

"Stefan get to boarding house now Y/N is sick" he tells him and you can hear the worry in both of their voices.

"I'm currently in town I can ask Elena what's wrong her. What happened?"

"When I got home she was sleeping, then she trew up and passed out a few moments after" Damon tells him while pacing around your room.

"I'll be home soon take care of her" And with that Stefan replies rushing into his brothers girlfriends medical office.

"Elena hey are you busy?" He asks as he sees her sitting behind the desk with a messy bun writting something.

"No is everything okay?" She asks looking up.

"No Y/N is sick, Damon says that she fell asleep after school and then vomited and passed out moments after" Stefan says with a worried tone and Elena gets up from the chair.

"Well in like 10 minutes we're closing I don't think anyone will come in can you bring her over or do you want to go to the boarding house with you?" Elena asks the vampire standing there.

"I'll call Damon to bring her over do you know what's wrong?" He asks her gain and she shakes her head.

"It could be just dehydration, a virus or infection or maybe she was just exhausted after school. I had mom come in saying her kid passed out from stress in school" Elena tells him while reaching to touch his hand.  Stefan then calls his brother telling him to being you to Elena so that she can have a look at you.

You wake up in your Uncle's arms as he's running with you with vamp speed. You're wearing you PJ'S and are wrapped in a blanket.

"Where are we going Uncle Damon" You ask with a groggy voice as you open your eyes. Damon looks down at you and smiles.

"Just your aunt Elena okay she's gonna look at you" he tells you calmly.

"Where's dad? I want my dad" you say and snuggle into the blanket.

"He's with Elena they're waiting for us" 5 minutes later you arrive in town and Damon walks towards his girlfriends office. As soon as Stefan sees you he runs over bringing you into his arms and stroking your hair.

"Hey baby how are you? Feeling any better" Dad asks you but you shake your head. He sets you down on the exam table and your aunt walks in. You never really liked hospitals so whenever you were sick your aunt Elena took care of you.

"Hi Y/N are you cold?" She asks you and you nod. Your dad sits next to you going his hand up and down your arms. "Okay let's see open your mouth" she instructs you.

"Okay it doesn't seem to be an infection I need you to pull up your shirt so that I can listen to your heart" but you shake your head smuggling into your dads side.

"But I'm cold" you say, after a while of persuading you do and she listens to your heart beat.

"Okay hearth beat's normal" She says and takes your temperature, blood pressure and all the thing they normally do.

"You have a slight fear of 38C° and your blood pressure is a little bit. I can give you something for it" Your aunt Elena says and shortly after she comes back with a glass of water and a pill.

You swallow it and close your eyes allowing a few moments of peace.You try to tune out all the voices so that you can drift into sleep but it's not working in your favor.

"Stefan from I've seen it could just be a common flu but it's best if we start an IV. You can stay with us at our house that way if something is wrong I can help " Elena says and you slowly open your eyes to meet your dads who's nodding. He smiles down at you and you smile back.

"Dad I'm tired. I want to sleep"You say to your dad and he kisses your forehead.

"Stay awake a little longer honey" He tells soothingly.

You see your Aunt Elena coming towards you with a weird looking tube and a needle. You snuggle closer to your dad as he runs his hand up down your arm.

"It's okay, dad's here, alright" you nod and you see your Aunt Elena taking your left hand. You look away and close your eyes while your dad strokes your hair. A little groan escapes your lips. You feel someone's hand on your back and you look up to see your Damon starring down at you and kissing your forehead lightly.

"Okay this should do it for the night. If anything happens you just tell me" Elena tells you and with a last glance you see her packing something in her bag. Dad picks you up carrying you all the way to the house and into the spare bedroom. You lay down with your dad by your side.

You wake up in the morning feeling a little better but still the same. You see that your dad is asleep next to you. Je wakes up when he hears you move around the bed.

"Hey Y/N are you feeling any better today?" He asks you placing a kiss on your forehead.

"Yeah but still like death" you say and your dad chuckles.

"I'll bring you some breakfast" Your dad says and you nod. Soon he gets back with some cereal. You finish it and then you and your dad are watching some movies on the laptop your uncle Damon borrowed you.

Then Your Aunt Elena comes in asking.

"Hey are you feeling better" she asks you and you nod she turns to your dad.

"I sent the blood to a friend of mine she got back with the results. You don't have to worry it's just common flu. A few days and she'll be on her feet. You can go home" Your dad nods and picks up you and carries you home.

After a few days you did get better and you were going to school tomorrow. Not that you minded staying at home. But your dad said you had.
