Under the Stars

" Is she okay?"

" April? April?!"

" Celeste? You're alive?"

" We missed you!"

" Yeah guys, but is April okay?"

April rose, groggily patting her head, as those words swam around her.

She was greeted by a set of arms, hugging her.

" You're alive. I didn't lose you... And I never will." April said, hugging back.

Celeste smiled, her mutagen-blue eyes bright.

Not terrified, not about to die, not tear-ridden.

Happy.

The turtles were talking to Celeste the whole way back. She was staying with us from now on, since she was basically dead to the world.

Raph's POV

It's now or never. The girl you love is back, not dead, now or never. Now or never.

" Hey Celeste, do you want to train with me?" Raph asked.

" Yeah!" Her eyes sparkled. Gosh, she was so cute when she did that.

After a few minutes, of blocking, kicking, and punching, Raph decided to show her a new move.

" Now, see, if someone ever grabs you from behind, just-" Raph had his arms around Celeste's waist. He was brought over her head, and slammed, gently, down.

" Like that?" She asked, dusting off her hands.

Raph's shell tingled with her touch.

" Hey Raph..." Celeste asked, after a few minutes.

" What?" Raph asked, smiling.

" Come on." She said, holding out her hand. " Do you want to see something beautiful?"

" I already have." Raph whispered.

Celeste was holding her little portable radio, and dragging a blindfolded Raphael behind her.

It was to the other side of the canyon.

" Why are we here-?" Raph was cut off when Celeste pointed to the sky.

The stars were beautiful. Raph widened his eyes. They were like a million pounds of glitter, mixed with a thick, soupy blue water. It was gorgeous.

The stars reflected in Celeste's eyes, like a mirror. They sat down on the spring grass.

" I watched those stars, nonstop, for two years. They bored themselves into my irises, I know where each and every one is." Celeste whispered.

Finally, she stood up, the song " Death Valley" by Fall Out Boy, played in the background.

The aggressive beat, made Celeste look down, her hair blowing, and hold out her hand to Raph.

" Want to dance?" She asked.

They grabbed hands, and we're stepping in tempo. Celeste's hair billowed behind her.

The song brought attention to Raphael and Celeste's relationship. It described them, as they aggressively danced.

They tried to outdo the other, hands entwined, but they ended up dancing beautifully.

Raph grabbed Celeste's hands, putting them on his shoulders, and he put his hands on her hips. They swayed.
