The four men waited until around 5 PM to head out and start bar-hopping with no idea where to start first and where they should end their little drinking experience. Kaminari suggested they should end their adventure by going clubbing somewhere around 10 PM, and Sero said it was a good idea but told the golden-haired male he couldn't do anything too crazy since he's no longer single. Midoriya said doing that could be enjoyable, but they couldn't get too drunk or be kicked out and cut off from drinking, and knowing Kaminari and Sero, that would happen to them.
"So," Kaminari starts, reading through the article on his phone, "this bar has good drinks, but the food might not be the greatest."
"Why should be worried about eating?" Midoriya asked.
"Drinking on an empty stomach isn't smart, dude," Sero points out. "If anything, we'll only get one drink, talk for a bit, and move on to the next one once our drinks finish."
"And we do this until we get plastered?" Bakugo asked.
"Yeah," Sero replies, "pretty much."
The four men sit at one of the tables where the bartenders are serving people drinks, and almost immediately, a waitress asks them what they want, and each of them gets something completely different from each other's choices. The conversation starts small initially, and Kaminari keeps it interesting until Sero locks eyes with a blonde waitress carrying an empty tray that catches his eye, ignoring his best friend.
The raven-haired male asks the woman for her name, and she tells him it's Hayami. Sero starts flirting with that waitress, and she's flattered, which Bakugo finds amusing, thinking his friend has some game. They all get a good look at the woman Sero continues to have a conversation with, and she's pretty cute. Her bright blonde hair goes down to her mid-back, and her bangs cover her forehead delicately. Her glasses, oval-looking ones that compliment her face well, rest on the bridge of her nose. Like many other ladies working here, her waitress uniform is a white button-down blouse, a black button-up vest over it, and a pair of black slacks, socks, and flats. She seems shy but a sweetheart, and her smile's genuine as she talks to Sero.
"So," Hayami questions the group, "what brings you guys out here?"
"Broski got his ass dumped," Kaminari answers, pointing at Bakugo, who nearly spits out his drink, "so we out here having fun."
"What kind of nickname is that?!" Bakugo demanded.
"Your first name and "bro" combined," Kaminari answers, "duh."
Hayami giggles as she holds the tray against her chest, "well, I'm sorry to hear about that. Breakups are never fun–"
"It's been a few months," Midoriya points out, "but we haven't seen him because of his busy schedule."
"I understand completely," she says, "but let me get you a shot. On the house."
"Fuck yeah," Bakugo grins, "a free shot."
"We got a wide variety," Hayami mentions, "but if you can't handle the strong taste, don't feel too bad."
Bakugo can't help but look at the woman with a smirk on his face, begging to ask her if she knows who he's hung out with before and how strong his alcohol tolerance is.
Minus keeping up with Kaminari's and Sero's constant partying when the two men got a place together after high school, he drank with other musicians when he was a hired gun for shows. Furthermore, touring with other artists proves how much he can tolerate. Bakugo found out about this one from some people he's met in the few months he was traveling around and barely at home.
"Oh, I won't," Bakugo jokes, "but you'll be surprised."
Hayami motions Bakugo to follow her to the bar where she'll make the drink for him, and he can hear Kaminari say, "lucky bastard, I want a free shot," as he walks away.
