Ashido breathes in through her teeth and gives him a questioning look, wondering if he wants to know her answer. However, a familiar voice calls out to her, stopping her from explaining, and that alone makes the hairs on Bakugo's neck stand up.

"Look, I gotta go," Ashido says, "but it was nice seeing you!"

A/N: Play the song now.

Bakugo hears people cheer the second the next song comes on as he watches the pink-haired woman descend to the dancefloor as more people slowly start to make their way over. The feeling he had not even a minute ago still weighs on his mind, but he disregards it since pondering on that thought can sour his mood. He chugs the rest of his drink and orders another before making it over to Midoriya and Todoroki, interrupting their conversation. From a distance at first, the conversation could have been a deep one, but maybe it's because they were trying to hear each other over the loud music.

"We got a problem," Bakugo says to Midoriya, making sure his friend hears him over the loud music. "I think Kirishima's here, and there's a good chance Louise is, too."

The green-haired male looks in Bakugo's direction with an inexplicable look, instantly realizing his friend wasn't lying when he made that comment. "Wait, Louise?" Midoriya asks loudly, trying to figure out why she would be in Japan. Bakugo nods, resulting in Midoriya asking, "why would she be here, too?"

"Tell me," Bakugo begins, "what are the odds of that psycho convincing him they should date?"

Midoriya doesn't make a single argument against that claim, understanding how close the two are from the beginning and the odds for both of them to become something more aren't non-existent. He can't imagine it happening, but he didn't imagine Iida and Uraraka dating at one point, so anything is feasible. There's no denying that the thought of it makes his skin crawl and his blood boil to an extent. He's still friends with Kirishima and respects whatever decision he makes, but if he chooses Louise over Bakugo, he will not support it.

Bakugo examines in the direction of the crowd slowly forming as the music progresses, looking over a multitude of people to see if his foretellings are correct, and hoping they aren't. It doesn't help with the flashing lights, the yelling from intoxicated pedestrians as they attempt to sing along to the lyrics, and him abruptly jumping back to reality each time someone bumps into him just by standing there. He wants to know whether or not his gut feeling's right, but before he can, he needs to find a way to the dance floor without running into too many people.

He looks to his left and sees people sitting down and talking and having drinks, slowly getting drunk, and his eyes land on Kaminari getting two more drinks at the bar, possibly for him and Sero. The ash-blond male rolls his eyes, knowing the golden-haired male will be drunk than a skunk in no time. He glances to the right but ceases halfway when his eyes land on Sero, chattering with another woman again tonight. Sero doesn't look interested in this woman like he was with the previous one earlier today, so the ash-blond male has an idea, considering they are "good friends" after all.

Bakugo saunters up to the two of them and can barely hear the conversation, but it doesn't stop him from putting his arm over Sero's shoulder from his left side and saying, "hey, babe."

Sero wraps his arm around Bakugo's frame, a shit-eating grin on his face, knowing what to say, "hey, sugartits, how you doin'?"

Bakugo copies the raven-haired male's smirk, and before they know it, that same woman leaves them, and they both chuckle about it and give each other a high-five.

"Works every time," Sero laughs. "Thanks for bailing me out! I couldn't take anymore!"

"She looked fake, like plastic," Bakugo points out, laughing, "and I know you don't prefer that!"
