Ashton had sent me the titles of a few movies he considered 'essential' and that I needed to watch 'asap'.

So here I was. Instead of being at the library like I always am, I was standing between aisles and aisles in a movie shop, looking for the movies.

I looked down at my list.

-The Blind Side
-Le Mis
-Just Go With It
-The Pursuit of Happiness
-MIB
-Mean Girls
-White Chicks

I groaned, pushing my glasses up my nose.

There were so many movies here, I didn't know where to begin looking for those seven.

''May I help you with something? You seem quite lost.'' A boy around my age who apparently worked here asked with a light laugh.

''I am lost.'' I replied with a nod, my eyebrows furrowed together. He asked me if he could see my list and so I handed it to him, rubbing my temples.

He took it and looked down, reading the titles.

''Oh, these are all good.'' He said with a big smile. ''I will go find these for you, give me a minute.'' He said then walked away.

Okay. I thought to myself, balancing my weight from one foot to another while standing there awkwardly.

After about five minutes I decided to go over the movies on the shelves just as I did with books.

I barely noticed eight minutes had passed when the same boy from before came my way, this time balancing seven movie cases in his arms.

I smiled politely. ''Thank you so much. I owe you one.''

He shook his head, grinning. ''You're welcome. I'll carry these over to the register for you.''

While he was scanning the movies so I could pay, he asked. ''If you don't mind me asking, are you having a movie marathon or something?''

''I guess you could say so.'' I agreed with a shrug.

He finished scanning the movies and I payed, thanking him once again for helping me out.

As I was driving home, I remembered we had that dinner thing tonight.

I groaned.

When I arrived home, I went up to my room, set the bag of movies on my bed and went to my closet.

I stood there in the middle of my closet for a while, trying to come up with a good outfit.

I wasn't exactly the best person in the style area.

I grabbed a plain black tight quarter sleeved crop top, black tights and a creamy-beige circle skirt.

Then I proceeded to make my hair and put on some make-up.

When I was done I actually thought I looked pretty.. decent for once.

I checked the time on my phone and saw that there were still about twenty minutes until the guests arrived. So I went downstairs to wait for them in the living room.

There were a few waiters and waitresses walking in and out of the kitchen and going to the dining room, preparing everything for the dinner.

It was almost always like this when my parents had someone important come over for dinner. They hired some waiters and waitresses and a caterer to prepare everything for them while they got ready.

Typical. I snorted mentally.

I looked around and there was no sign of my parents yet. Which meant they were upstairs getting ready.
