''Okay but seriously, what are we gonna do this essay about? We're running out of time.'' I mumbled with furrowed eyebrows, looking down at my desk trying to come up with something as I tapped my pencil against the desk absentmindedly.

Ashton hummed in response, letting me know he was deep in thought too.

I groaned, looking around at all the other partners already writing their projects meanwhile Ashton and I couldn't agree on a topic.

''Why can't we just choose a random topic again?'' I asked.

''No. I mean, I don't know. But, just, no. Yeah, no.'' He stuttered out indecisively, looking down shyly and pushing his glasses up his nose.

I rolled my eyes at him but smiled anyway.

''Geez, okay then, Ash. No need to get your panties in a twist.'' I smirked playfully, knowing he'd get embarrassed.

He reacted exactly as I expected him to- blushed a dark red, tried to hide it from me by lowering his head further but either way still had a small smile on his lips.

I laughed and looked around the classroom quickly to check if anyone was watching us. Ashton and I had decided to keep whatever was going on between us only to ourselves for the time being. No one was even looking our way. So I pulled his head up with my fingers and gave him a quick peck on the lips, smiling when I pulled back. ''You're too cute for me.''

His smile then was so huge, it seemed to light up the whole classroom for me.

Later that day I was passing by the library when I saw Michael and Luke together.

They were really close to each other- Luke standing against the wall and Michael hovering over him with one of his hands beside Luke's head. They were laughing and then Michael said something with a smirk that made Luke blush ten shades of red.

Michael laughed fondly at Luke and then gave him a considerably-long kiss on the cheek, still remaining close to him even when he pulled away.

Luke's eyes widened slightly and then he shook his head, looking down and blushing even more.

Michael laughed at the blonde-haired boy's reaction, then pulled his hand out from his pocket to intertwine it with Luke's.

That's when I decided I should probably leave.

I completely forgot about the library and the book I was going there to get, since the whole way over to the front of the school I was squealing happily like an idiot.

''What's got you so happy?'' Ashton asked with a smile when I met up with him on the front doors of the building.

I shook my head, waving him off. ''Don't worry about it. Cute couples that's all.''

''So, you were thinking about us?'' He teased with a smug grin.

I rolled my eyes, playfully hitting his arm as we started walking to my house.

I honestly couldn't believe how he could go from shy to sassy so fast.

''So, who was the couple?'' He asked curiously.

I considered if I should tell him or not that it was Michael and Luke. I mean, it seemed like that was a secret for the two boys and I didn't know if it was up to me to let it out.
