"Doppi you gotta wake up, don't you have a job interview today?" Diavolo shook Doppio a few times before pulling the blankets off of her completely.
"Mm.. just an hour more big sis and I'll be up I promise...." Doppio curled up close to the pillows she was laying on.
"No you gotta get up now. I'm not paying your share of the rent anymore Doppi!" Diavolo started to tickle Doppio, earning hands in her face, with a bonus of Doppio laughing and yelling stop.
"Okay okay okay!" Doppio sprang up out of her bed after Diavolo was satisfied with the tickle attack.  Doppio took a deep breath and was greeted by the smell of food. "Did you make breakfast Dia?"
"Yeah, I was hungry. It's cold now because of your lazy ass now come on." Diavolo grabs Doppio's arm, pulls her off the bed and drags her to the kitchen.
"Did you make these yourself!? They look so good!" Doppio's eyes lit up at the sight of the fresh cornettos, sprinkled with powdered sugar with various fruits on the side of the plate on her side of the table.
"Yeah, it took a few tries but I think I've perfected them now. Do you want coffee or milk?" Diavolo walked over to the fridge as Doppio sat down, still gazing at her food.
"I'll have some milk."
Diavolo nodded and took the milk out of the fridge. She poured a glass for Doppio, and put some in her coffee cup. Diavolo walked over to Doppio and set the cup down for her.
"You can eat anytime, when is the interview?" Diavolo walked back to the coffee machine and put fresh coffee beans in the crusher.
"I think it's at 9:15, but I'll check to make sure." Doppio took out her phone and scrolled through her messages.
"That's cutting it a little close isn't it Doppi? It's already 8:37, why didn't you set an alarm?"
"I was so busy with homework last night that I forgot! I can still make it though, it doesn't take that long for me to get ready." Doppio began to eat her food. "Dia this is the best cornetto I've ever had, thank you for making them!" Doppio smiled brightly, earning a smile back from Diavolo. "Glad you like them, I worked hard." Diavolo grabbed her coffee mug and set it under the machine as the coffee came out. "Do you want me to call you out of school for your interview, or is today an off day?"
"Oh crap I forgot about school! Dia can you please do that for me? I can't have any more unexcused absences!"
"Of course I'll do it for you, just make sure that you get the job in return." Diavolo grabs her mug and sits down across from Doppio.
"Thanks Dia, you're the best."
"I know." Diavolo sipped her coffee with a small smile.
Doppio ate as fast as she could and then ran to her room to change into the clothes she had prepared. It wasn't very formal, but it was a job at a cafe so it shouldn't be too formal. She put on a purple turtleneck, like her usual one, but less revealing of her stomach. She put on some appropriate black pants to match, and topped it off with a belt. She braided her hair into a single braid down her back, usually she would ask for Diavolo's help, but she decided she would try on her own today. Afterwards she walked out of her room to give her big sister a hug before leaving.
"Be careful okay? The roads are supposed to be slippery today." Diavolo hugged Doppio before returning to her breakfast.
"I will! If something happens I'll text you immediately." Doppio smiles. "Love you Dia."
"Love you too Doppi."
Doppio walked out the door, grabbing her keys on the way. She jumped into her car and gave herself some words of motivation before starting the car.
Doppio turned on her radio and listened to one of her favorite songs on the way. Diavolo had given Doppio her hairpin as a good luck charm, and Doppio wore it in her hair today. She pulled up to the cafe just in time at 9:00. She took a deep breath. "You can do this Doppio, you'll get this job and make Dia proud." She opened her car door and walked inside the cafe. She was met by a nice lady who took her to the interview room. It went pretty well, Doppio got to choose her shift times and days. Afterwards she called Diavolo and told her of the great success. Diavolo congratulated her of this, and offered to make a celebration dinner. Doppio walked out of the cafe, feeling like she was on top of the world. She had finally completed an adult thing other than driving! She couldn't wait to get home and celebrate with her sister.
